Dinobot (ko of 3d printed) is up on taobao
Dino mode is certainly better than official.
What’s the price on it? It says $1.56 I’m no expert on taobao but that seems off
I’m running it through bhiner and requesting a quote, I should hear back from them within a day
Great thanks hope I can order two this week
I’ll let ya know what bhiner says, $1.56 may be a deposit (why no idea, it says 171 in stock)
Yeah, I don't think anyone's telling anybody else what to collect / not collect... but they will probably express their own personal opinions about what they like and don't like, and why... such as scale, stylistic accuracy, etc...
Which is exactly what we're supposed to be talking about, here in a toy collecting forum.
I wonder if that Dinobot will end up being released in other colors. I could go for a Beast Wars Grimlock from it. And if they want to put a bit of original work into it, do some remolding for Beast Wars II Thrustor and Beast Wars Neo Hardhead.
I’d be down for that
@Dinotrap bhiner got back to me, $22.11 before shipping
Neat. How much does shipping normally cost? I've checked out BHiner before, probably because of your comments, but haven't bought anything yet.
It varies depending on the item, shipping from taobao to bhiner is usually only a few bucks, I usually estimate international shipping from bhiner to be $20 at least (though sometimes it’s less) but that being the case, $40 for a voyager dinobot isn’t really that bad, especially considering the unpainted 3d printed version was $70
Details, faces, extras......other stuff.
I seen that other color one on Aliexpress before, yeah... but these seem to be the originals. The others lack the EmCo sign.
I found some review videos, too:
Funny thing, it seems they are Lego figure compatible - probably because EmCo has its own Not-Lego line with stuff like DinoBrix and RoboBrix
That's one minute of nothing happening... are there any transformation videos? And how big is this? It is certainly better than the MP in that it has no fake chest (something I just cannot accept on a MP toy). I am fine for now with the Henkei one myself, after spending so long to hunt one down at a reasonable price, but if I see this on Aliexpress I might get it... I could never figure out how to use Taobao, the page even resists translators and often pictures and text turn into giant sized font for no reason in my browsers...
I think you mean the "first" letterbots? I think they are the first as I have been finding them on flea markets in the nineties already. Of course this below is not the original set. I still have a purple letter "S" that I like to think of as a big fan of Shockwave as he has the same color as cartoon Shocky, and golden eyes - albeit two, not one.

Shirts like these are everywhere in Hungary, as funny parodies of various brands.
(for those not from central Europe... Bud Spencer/Terence Hill movies were incredibly popular here in the seventies-eighties)
I cannot find it, but we also have "Pumpa" - a parody of Puma, with the jumping puma having a rubber toilet pump shown into his face
ID fun time.
The one in the middle was taken from Robo Revolution.
Do any of the MP Megs KOs have the same paint scraping issues on the barrel when attaching the 'silencer' that the original had?
they all do
Can the the thf megs barrel be rotated down to his waist like the g1 toy?
While the official MP Dinobot blows this KO out of the water, I could certainly see getting the KO as a stand-in until the official version gets released.
thats my thinking currently, itll be a decent standin till july
