    Backpedaling?

My original post about blacklisting was a warning, not anything more... A helpful insight. I was blacklisted on that very site after my first order, due to coming in here to rate the service... The same act the OP was performing.

How in the hell is me getting attacked first, and assuming I am doing anything more than offering valid advice, warranted?

That's kind of what's happened to me is that there seems to be no more long term satisfaction when I buy a figure now. I fiddle with it a little bit then just stick it on a shelf so I've cut back on buying because I just don't seem to enjoy it like I used to.

WTF happened here. I occasionally pop in here to see if there are any new G1 KO/reissues, but WTF?

If that's the case, then yeah, your comment about blacklisting was totally misunderstood by some of us, and I apologize for the confusion over that. The escalating sparring between you and FunkyRenegade only magnified that initial misunderstanding.

My post was geared to the general tendency to pile on when someone has a negative review, because I think we have to let this place stay an open forum for that kind of thing. And I say that as a happy Sirtoys customer.

I haven't quite cut back... but I probably should. I've never been a compulsive collector, but it used to be about building a collection with the best representation of a particular G1 character I could find that matched style, size, etc... so I tended to pick and choose more.

Now, we have so many G1 homages, so many 3P and KO choices, so many scales and sub-lines, so many variants... I'm finding I'm buying anything that comes along that "looks cool" and fits into the budget. At some point, I'll have to deal with the collection bloat, and make some cuts.

But I will say that as a price-sensitive buyer (ie: cheapskate), the many new oddball, upscaled KO options available to us are the things I tend to get most excited about lately!

it comes in spurts, and it's amplified when someone mentions about having a less than stellar experience with Sirtoys. But yes... that news and rumors section is vicious. The news police will come to get you.

@FunkyRenegade went off on a tangent, basically claiming I am whiteknighting a site for kickbacks... Then without actually knowing what's really going on, the fellow tfuk'ers chime in... 24 hours of BS.

I like oddball kos, that's why I'm here.

Most people appear to have received good service, so the suggestion was a little over the top, but that's interesting to know. Guess I'll have to be careful...

I want to see a talented 3rd party company recreate stuff like THIS. I want badass remakes of all these weird non-actual-KOs of toys.

    Hi all...

I am new to TFW2005... but my cursory view at this page tells me it is a microcosm of the greater hostility on the planet. Kudos to all who use their de-escalating skills.

That said, I am in a similar predicament to the issues that Starskreem posted on page 1403... which, like the assassination of the Arch-Duke, seems to have started a bit of a skirmish.

I ordered a KO Masterpiece Soundwave from Best Grey. I've ordered from Mr. Lee in the past, and aside from him having some inconsistent pricing (sometimes ridiculously good deals... sometimes ridiculously overpriced), I have never had a problem.

My KO Soundwave came shipped in a Takara Tomy Soundwave box (not Takasa Tony or any shit like that) and I opened it up and stared at the figure through the plastic.

I was busy and didn't take the figure out for a few days. When I did, I found the right arm could move to a position to be spread out like Divinci's Vitruvian Man. But when it came to back and forth movement... it was fused in position at the shoulder and immovable like a pouting Fred Dukes (the Blob, for the uninitiated).

I thought to myself, I've heard of tight joints with official items... and loose joints with KOs. So I kept at it.

Eventually... in an attempt to move it, the joint snapped.

Now it's probably too late to address the matter with Best Grey.

However, I was wondering if anyone within the community might know of a thread for repairing TFs.

Also... Do people have access to the sail of spare parts like shoulder ratchet or shoulder joint assemblies? Maybe a Ratchet and Wheeljack thread or something?

Just figured it was worth an "ask".

I have some bootleg horribly made G2 Soundwave that's missing the front cover of the bike along with the launcher not working. Also, the stickers we're easy to peel off.
