Hahaha thanks man
Does anyone know of a U.S. based website/etailer where we will be able to order the MP36 KOs that will be out soon? All I see are the Chinese sites.
I don't think you need an American site, as all the KO MPs are from China. Chinese based sites, and those based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia use fairly cheap and fast shipping. In China sites, they use "e-packet", which is designed mainly to export things to the USA quickly and cheaply. Any USA site is probably going to have to go through a Chinese based middle-man anyway.
Don't forget... Us sites are a big no-no for ko's.
Also, if you're concerned about the language barrier, Paul from Sirtoys is (I think) ex-pat Canadian. Very reliable seller.
Also, Tony from Chimungmung has always been incredibly reliable (though he deals more in 3P stuff), and his english is decent. I expect his new site Robotoy Base will also be a safe bet.
I emailed him and his English is serviceable. However, his site doesn't accept credit cards, only paypal. That, however, is a usual problem with most sites (even though Robobase has pictures of credit cards at the top of the website page...)
Sirtoys supports "PayPal by credit card", which allows users without PayPal accounts to use their credit cards without joining PayPal. I wish the other rival websites did the same...
Also, that seller who uses Facebook and tfw2005 to sell KOs (I ALWAYS forget his name) is based in Canada, I believe.
I'm jumping into the middle of this and could be misunderstanding- but my Buster Prime (which I got brand new the week of original release- long before the KO's existed) does not have the hip circles or elbow joints painted either (I'm looking at him right now).
It is possible that some issue at some point did, it's also possible you're compaing against a somewhat customized version. But what ever the case, the absence of paint in those places does not denote KO neccesarily (if at all).
Hope this is helpful, sorry if I'm lost/confused.
Is it the guy who goes by Sky_Lynx on the boards. Or... um... Rubsadawn? Either way, I haven't bought from either yet.
Yes, Rubadubspawn. That's the second time I've been reminded (and probably not the last).
holy shat.. i knew it was big, but jinbao warbotron its absolutely massive in person. i was hoping to get it yesterday, but the post office was closed due to a public holiday. i need to further inspect, and figure out a decent rig for blastoff as an arm.. but the piece seemed to arrive okay.
oh i forgot the bad dark pic.. man, now he has to go in the wardrobe until xmas.. well after another full inspection tonight..
after further review, i only have one real issue with mine. it seems the hips are a bit loose in certain poses standing.. trying to do squatting poses seems to have the hips give out forwards and backwards because of the weight from the torso being pulled forwards or backwards. is this just mine? or do others have this issue? ive isolated the issue and its more left hip than right. i looked at the screws and one on the left is stripped and wont tighten. guess im going to have to ask for a replacement. unless this is a known issue?
one last pic then im breaking it down to take photos/vids of the hip..
The hips are a bit loose on mine, as well as Brawl's ankles.
Since we now have 3 different sizes of MP Prime (1 official, 1 downscaled KO and 1 upscaled KO), can you specifiy which that is? I'm curious just how big this guy is.
MP-10V.. This is why i need a MP-11V -- make it happen kbb...
(L) Superlink bruticus (energon, rotf, fansproject colossus upgrade user), (C) original warbotron scale (Machine boy), (R) and the oversized warbotron bruticus for comparison.
The red prime is the evasion mold.
If you have cw devastator, the oversized warbotron scales great with it... Though one could say he looks down on devastator in size and heft.
okay one more for good measure.. someone has a new job or needs a paint job.. i cant wait to eventually paint this guy.. will be played with first though.. superglue and paint when he's retired.
btw thats a KO chinese airbrush and a KO korean air compressor.. haha.. gd im poor or cheap.. they r good kos though.. no complaints over here.
where are my KO MPM-03/04 so I can customize them? I want a cheap MPM-03 so I can reshell him to a 67 camaro!
Separate names with a comma.
