Is there a KO of tf5 voyager optimus that is not oversized? I need parts from the knight prime design to affix to a custom armored girl... Kinda don't want to buy an official prime just to destroy.

Simplified works if the chest fenderbra and shoulder armor are still good.

As a side note, can anyone tell me anything about the kbb Shockwave model kit with the massive gun? I've seen it for a little as USD 12.35 without box and I'm tempted to get it, the gun itself seems really cool.

The KBB Shockwave is really easy to build, but the instructions don't tell you when to put in the screws. It's pretty easy to tell a screw hole though. It's a decent little figure, but not any amazing. The big gun is pretty slick though, and it breaks down into a bunch of smaller weapons.

 

The big gun is pretty cool, as it breaks down into other weapons. My gripe is all of the handles are fit for the same company's Bruticus, so they don't fit in many figure's hands. I may cut off parts of mine so they do.

 

I got mine from : hzj401 (the place lots of people get OS Throttlebots from) it came assembled though as did the weapon pieces.

I would say a small logo is handy for his chest and a little grey paint is handy for his ears or a few other spots. He's a nice little figure - though you might want to apply some clear nail poilish to the hinge inside his chest and to his knees & ankles after partly disassembling him as I had a couple of loose spots that needed some Tender loving care.

He's a nice little figure and many combiners can hold him fine in gun mode too (especially TFC ones) as for the weapons they are rather large for some characters hands - I will agree with that - only certain members of the Warbotron crew can hold them decently (or at least the Machine Boy ones anyway). I suspect they'd fit better on the overscale ones.

The the scabards mostly fit so you can still use them as decoration. The gun itself seems to fit many combiners too.
If you don't mind adding a little paint to Shockwave (perhaps the weapon blades too) and possibly having to clean up a little flash they are a good purchase. Shockwave can also hold the smal knife himself.

I'd be interested to hear any words anyone has to say on the use of the weapons with an overscale combiner though..
If anyone has a specific use for them in mind if I have the toy in question i'd be happy to let people know if they fit or not.

 

my ko haul today, chms punch counterpunch and a ko of the platinum edition sweep as devcon. honestly both of these are pretty good, punch has mostly tight joints and his head doesnt seem so bad in person once the figure is transformed properly. the drawback is that he cant really stand when using funpubs mistransformation for punch, the hinges on his feet are too lose, other than that i don't really have any complaints. devcon is a thing of beauty, if i didnt know it was a ko i would think it was an official figure

Not sure, but I've not seen any pictures of their heads turned, and Sirtoys pictures show that the rear of the heads are hollow (just a gaping hole at the back). I've ordered the Optimus Prime version (as one of many failed "Nemesis Prime/Reverse Convoy/Guiltaur" clone experiments...

 

Are these gonna be bigger than the original.

SirToys updated my OS Defensor shipment with tracking!   Happy happy happy happy happy...

 

I recently got tracking on a shipment from Sirtoys...












































...two weeks after it was delivered. I am still waiting for tracking info on the delivery that has been "shipped" about a week ago...

 

Same with my last shipment... I got a tracking notification and got all excited about a new box of crack incoming... Only to figure out it was for an order that arrived over a week before.

Paul is in the process of moving shop again, so he could be swamped with things other than tracking updates.

 

In my case, thankfully, it hasn't left China just yet. I'm just happy it's on its way.
