It combines into some big dinosaur monster... thing.

They look cool on their own, and might would be a nice custom paint project.

They are all about $35-50 shipped to the states, though.

What scale are these? The ones on sirtoys are deluxe, but I once saw the swoop at a flea market and he was a voyager. Lady wanted 30 usd for it so I reluctantly passed.

Yeah, we were just talking about this set in this thread a few pages back, weren't we? I have the grey/blue version of this set, and the quality is quite good. The combined "monster" mode is just sort of a fan-mode that took off after the initial release... the proper combined mode is a humanoid robot, as in Paul's pics above. The individual limbs are definitely Deluxe-sized though. I've never heard of an oversized version!

    A KO! :wtf:

This is pretty cool, better than some CW stuff. I might pick it up as a desk bot

I'm surprised no one ever KO'ed quickslinger/brake neck/blast off... seems like they would have made some quick cash if they did...

I managed to get the Hasbro versions of CW Slingshot, Wildrider, and Groove... so it feels like the Blastoff mold will probably turn up eventually. But a good-quality KO would probably make a lot of people happy who missed them the first time.

I'm actually doing that right now. I have him in surgery to add outward movement to the shoulders and I'm figuring out where to get a head. His coloration and transformation are perfect for TM Megatron.

Does anyone recall if the Shapeways head that was muted for the TFC Dinobot team ever came out - I feel he need a helm for combined mode.

These ones were deluxe sized I think but the boxes were big like voyager toys.

It amazes me nobody has yet made bigger wings to plug on that mold... It would be easy enough to fit on, the only trick would be detail and paint

Yeah I just bought a bunch of old Unicron trilogy toys, and half of those old $20-30 toys are bigger than what passes for leader class now. With way more plastic and stronger too etc. you can feel the weight difference so much in those older toys, kind of freaks me out when I pick them up in comparison to the current lines.

Those are not KO's, but original molds designed by TFC for a chinese company for kids They also did the star rescue team that turns into a not-Defensor. I have two sets of the dino ones, they combine into a gestalt also and are great fun.
They have been out for several years.

To confuse things, a company did actually KO the original molds into an inferior product. You can see both the original ones and the KO ones on sirtoys
