    Anyone else watching The Killing?

I figured I would give it a try since it was on AMC,and they seem to have some good shows.

The first episode was alright. It took a little while for it to get going, but I'll keep watching it.I just hope they pick up the pace more.

I've got it recorded. Probably gonna watch it this weekend. AMC always has good TV shows, so this one probably won't be the exception.

Yep, I've watched it and will be watching the new episode tonight. AMC is really hitting home runs with their shows.

Hopefully, after a few more here watch this show, we can get a good discussion going about who you guys think did it and the case itself :)

Might have been nice if the US networks had been brave enough to screen the original Danish show that we got (and will be getting series two and three of) in the UK.

American TV companies seem to have a VERY low opinion of their audiences I.Q.

Too soon for me to make a prediction on the killer. The young boys seem too obvious now,the councilman is always a possibility, and that campaign worker(Justin,I think)seems pretty shady.

Oh you're welcome. AMC is simply hitting home runs with everything they're making. I'm just regretful that I missed out on Mad Men when it came out, as I'm sure I'd really like it too. I'm sure I'll catch up on it at some point.

Yeah, I know what you mean. At any one point, we can have a new suspect as well. The thing is, there's the person(s) who actually committed the act of killing, and also the persons involved in the circumstances that advocated it as well.

I really think there's going to end up being a lot of connecting the dots [I hope] with the persons and their involvement.

One of the things I absolutely love about the show is the dialouge. I really think each character is written very well and they way each person talks is very believable. I find a lot of show lacking in this area.

...and the plot thickens.I figured that teacher was going to have a bigger role in this show, now we'll see just how big.

Is it ever going to stop raining?

The last episode was really good. There's so much interesting things in this show :)

I'm really enjoying the [sort of] sub-plot of the councilman running for mayor. The school teacher and the councilman together is . . . interesting. Part of me still thinks the teacher isn't telling everything.

    Thoughts?

I just finished the last episode, and for me this was probably the best one so far. There are so many different angles that this could go.You think you might have an idea on who the killer is,and then they throw in another possibility. As it is right now,I don't have the slightest idea who it might be.Which is good because it makes the show that much more interesting.

    ....and it's still raining.

The signs are pointing to the teacher right now, and even though he's the likely suspect now, I just don't think it's him.

I'm really interested in the "business" that Stan used to be in. I think there's something to the shady stuff going on there.

For some reason I'm leaning towards Stan's moving employee Belko. It was just kind of weird of him to clean that kid's sheets and put them back on his bed.

Then of course they show Holder talking to that guy and getting a bunch of money. He said it was gambling winnings, but it still adds some suspicoiusness to him.

One of the things I really like about this show is that there's something fishy about everyone. Certainly, some seem more guilty than others, but what i really put my bank in is that this show is made by AMC. I look at the recent track record of great shows that's came from them, and this show ranks right up there. I say that simply to say that it wouldn't surprise me in the least for one of the least likely suspects end up being the killer.

Also, one of the great things about this show is the focus. It's not the crime of the week - they're really delving into just exactly how something like this impacts those involved. That's real.
