After touching up my Excellion with some Mithril Silver, I decided to see what I could do with Downshift. I patterned the apps after Cheebs' mod, though his is far better.

I also touched up Micromaster Hot Rod. Let's face it, the guy needed it. The pipes were crying out for color, and the engine benefited from it as well.

I kind of wish I had more figures that could use it, it's fun adding trim and stuff.

Nice additions to Downshift there. Silver can definitely snazzy up a TF pretty nicely. Some of those evil Armada toys like Smokescreen look way better after I added some highlights here and there. The paint apps really do count for a lot with the look of these things. It's not hard to over do it when adding paint apps though...believe me! You did a fine job here though.

nice job oro :)  you should use it on the tailpipes and taillights while you're at it! I also did it to the mirrors... if you have Cyb Soundwave, you can use it on him and lazerbeak too *L*

Great job, how you managed to get it so perfectly on such a tiny Hotrod is beyond me...

    Thanks guys. :)

I hadn't thought about the tailpipes, I'll take a look. I need some red for the taillights though. If it weren't for the missing gold chrome on the wings I would get a Soundwave and fix him up.

    Very, very carefully. :)

I just used a silver paint pen myself, then shot a quick spray of clear coat on it...

the tailpipes are easy, just flip the feet partway out and you can get all around them... oh, as for the red, wanna know what I used and the color matched perfectly with what's already there??? -red sharpie :lol

A red sharpie, huh? I'll have to see if my mom has one lying around. I've got a red marker from work but the tip is too blunted.

I did a little more silver work earlier, this time with LoC Excellion. He was looking pretty bland in both modes, so I did his shoulders and crotch panels, plus his key area.
