I feel the same way. I told myself, "I'm only getting a few of the movie oddities". As it turned out, I so far have bought all of the retail oddities that I could find minus the items at Radio Shack. Then I told myself, "I won't buy any figures". Hubby broke that rule by buying me Leader Prime off of HTS and then talking me into buying the Blackout two pack. Wallet is screaming at me, especially since there is still many items out there that I need to look for and would like to get.

    Ebay:
Just grabbed the two bikes at TRU to push me over $2K. The merchandise collecting is INSANE, but I will be going all out this year. The watches are (I think) the last big expense on the horizon for me, and maybe the cost of importing those lightup t-shirts from the UK. I think I'm through the bulk of it, though.

Looking forward to 2008, when I go back to just the toys. :lol

    You spent only $200? :p

Well, I knew from the start that I would be wanting all the new molds, so I'm not surprised. The stuff is good.

I'm only up to $150 so far. Will be buying Leader-Class Prime soon, so that'll put a new dent in the wallet.

I'm only missing Leader & Voyager Megatron. I have all the (currently released) Real Gear guys, all of the (currently released) Deluxes, all 4 voyagers plus RoboVision Prime, and Leader Prime. I think I'm somewhere around $300 or so right now, and after looking at the "Exhaustive List" thread, I think I have somewhere between $200 and $250 left to go. And for the record, I don't buy FAB's, Cyber-anythings, legends, or any other merchandise. Just the mainline TF movie toys for me!

I too only wanted the Robot Heroes and Real Gears.

Now I have every figure from the main line (exclusives, basics, voyagers, leaders) and lots of miscellaneous things (plushies, boardgames, 360 face plates, beach towel, etc).

    Kill me now.

Here's everything I bought so far... And prices (to get the total)
    Blackout/Scorpy & Scorpy- $25
    Legends Bee- $4
    legends Prime- $3.5
    legends megs- 3.5
    Legends Barricade- 3.5
    Bee/Barricade - 17
    Prime- 36
    Megs - 36
    Brawl- 10
    Bonecrusher- 8
    Wreckage- 8
    SS and Ironhide- 40
    Real gear camera/cell phone- 15
Real gear booster X10- 3.5 (TRU $5 gift card from the sale... nice)
    Protoform Prime/SS- 20

For a grand total of approximately $240 (give or take... I -think- i forgot to include the shipping for Prime and Megs)

EDIT: but fortunately all that's left is '08 Bee and possible final battle jazz and White rachet. so $250 (or $280) on movie stuff total, not counting at least 1 ticket and any tee shirts or whatever i may buy later.

EDIT 2: I'm also getting the free magnets from HTS

EDIT 3: The movie pretty much killed my birthday AND my first pay check (will be back pay for work I will be doing until my mom starts getting paid... realtors...) (I have a spend half-save half policy, so back pay will be saved, but still)

I am definitely in that category, KA. I basically bought the whole line at launch on one paycheck, and I haven't had a lot money to eat. :)  Ramen is my friend.

I'm only looking to get the Cullen voice changer but I'm VERY tempted to also get Leader class Prime and Megs.

    I haven't spent enough :(

Seriously, I wanna get a whole lot more than the two I have (Leader Prime + Blackout, if you're interested). So far the line has amazed me. I don't intend to get any non-toy merch., though, and even then just the mainline stuff (no FAB's, legends, role-play, etc.) That's still a bit of a tall order for someone who's primary source of income is allowance.

I anticipated spending what I thought to be a generous $200-$250, but I am already at just above $400 and still see things that aren't out yet that I want... so yeah, in the same boat.
