i read the story about the Canadian Women's Hockey Team celebrating on the ice after their gold medal worthy beatdown of our girls.

The IOC is honestly upset about the girls' behavior?
they weren't all that rowdy, aside from some Molson, champagne and cigars.
For what they did this year, they deserve some slack.
You go, girls and you go right ahead and trash the rest of Vancouver if you want.
You played like men- betcha you could take most of the men's teams down a notch or two- and and I am proudz of you.

Just don't ask me to sing O' Canada...we could have fights break out at my piss poor voice.

To the IOC, pull the diamond outta yer ass, drop curling as a sport and relax. They didn't screw up nearly as bad as you have during the olympics.

You guys think it's cool how the ladies partied on the ice?

Blunts and booze - oh noes! Paddle them 'til they're sore!

C'mon, IOC. It's not like they were French kissing each other and/or streaking. Although that would've been awesome.

Wasn't the reason they were pissed because one of the players was drinking when it was illegal for her to do so in that area because she was underage?

Not bothered about it myself, but I can see why people would get upset at that.

I'm a little upset at the "dropping the curling" comment. Watching women's curling is the best way to pass 3 hours of my time.

One player was 18 (19 next month), and she's from Quebec. The drinking age in Canada save Quebec, Alberta, and Manitoba is 19, in those other three provinces it's 18.

If the IOC wants to be pissed off at the hockey last night start with the refs who stopped calling penalties at the end of the 3rd

    It's weird because moving west from quebec it goes 18, 19, 18, 19, 18, 19.

But yeah, minor illegality. Send the chick a ticket, cry in a corner about the decline of sportsmanship, and take some more bribes, IOC.

She probably shouldn't have been drinking on the ice though, that's a big no no on most rinks.

They desirve a bit of a break. I'm cool with it as long as they didn't damage the rink or facility.

It is kind of too bad that they didn't have a post game pillow/tickle fight with the members of the USA team though.

I haven't bothered to watch any of it. Football should be an Olympic sport, then I would watch.

They competed in a sporting event, of course they should be allowed to disregard local laws afterwards.

    Oh wait.
