Depressingly, after my recent visit to dentists I add 4 to my tally of 1 = 5.

I'm 31 years old. My dental hygeine had been, like 95% perfect, I let it slip for six months; I paid the price. Four big white buggers due (nor mercury) two down, two in molars to go.

Is that a lot for my age; or not? Some questions:

How many do you people have? At what age? (Upper jaw or lower jaw? Both?)

And is it normal for the ones between teeth to be so ass-bitch annoying it feels like a rock hard piece of food is permanently lodged there?

Or just me? Kindly share your dentist horror stories here.

    GAH, I F*KIN' HATE EM!!

I've always had great dentists. No complaints here, and no dental issues 'sides the normal stuff.

Last year, I had some 8 cavities filled between September and November, while initially I was horrified out of my gourd at the thought of having to get them filled, toward the end, it was all pretty hum-drum. I'd usually wind up falling asleep while they worked.

It got to the point where the worst part was the numbness afterward that wouldn't pass for some six hours. That was aggravating.
