With Christmas coming up, and Toys-For-Tots about to set up stations around America, and Devastator on clearance for ~$80 at Walmarts and Targets, (and some wholesale sites selling it at $69.99) I'm challenging all you fellow TFW members to load up on Devastators and donate them to underprivelaged children!

To participate, you must donate at least 1 Devestator to whatever Children Donation charity you have (Because Toys for Tots is only in the US...)

The more you donate, the more happy childhood memories you will make!
(Let's just hope no one swaps them out of the bin...:scalper )

If you donate at least 1 Devy, I will PM a cool "I DEVASTATED A CHILD" Avatar and Sig Pic. :thumb

You will also be listed here in this post as a "Child Devastator" :)

I will also attempt to make a "I DEVASTATED A CHILD" group.

Let's make this a wreaking-ballin',sand-sucking,BIG F**CKING ROBOT Christmas for kids in need!!!

If I had the extra cash I'd love to. I had intended to donate a Cybertron Supreme Starscream back in 2005 but the day I went to TRU to actually do it they'd ust had a ale and they were all gone. :(

If I can sell off some stuff and get some excess money I'll donate Devstator

After the whole crap that's being argued in the Toys for Tots thread, I thought this was going to be about something completely different. Glad I was wrong. I'm gonna try to rebudget my holiday spending and try to pull this off on my end. ^_^

I'd like to, but I can't even afford one for myself. I have to be quite stingy for the next 2 months.

This, there are MUCH better TFs to donate out there. Much cheaper ones, too.

I wouldn't give that non-transforming turd to my worst enemy. The kid would be devastated, all right.

Go for it dude. You will make 4 kids happy.

Plus, who said they are on clearance? And it's cheaper at Costco at the regular price.

I already gave my donation last week. 4 toys fo boys and 4 toys for girls. Why just make the boys happy.

Kid's don't think the same as we do.
If it's bigger than the others and makes noise, it's the best one.
When a g1 fan was little and saw Fort Max, he wanted that one more than any other.
Screw Megatron,Optimus Prime and all the "better and cheaper" ones.
If you really think about it, Fort Max sucks.(He just bends over to transform, and is just a big brick.)
BUT he's bigger than all the others!
That is what makes a toy good for a kid.
Do you think a kid will even recognize the individual constructicons?
The only TFs in the movie worth memory, who also are "the cool ones" are Prime,Megs,Starscream, and Devestator.
Ask any kid, especially the little ones who they want:
The big one who eats all the others, or the smaller ones who get eaten?

This is a Devastator donation challenge, not just a TF donation challenge.

I'll be making a general TF charity thread soon, but this one is special, because a little kid will rember all his life when he got the biggest TF he ever saw. :thumb

    Several responses come to mind:

    Funny - Devastator scares children.

Sardonic - Yeah, because nothing says 'cool' like a toy they can break apart, lose the dump truck in the cat box/sand box, toss the rest into a bin and then find it sold two years later at a yard sale.

Sarcastic/Truthful - When you find everyone a job where we can afford that, let us know.

Sincere - I do applaud your efforts, and what you truly mean by it. :thumb

I think any donation is awesome. Even if you can only pick up a deluxe you will make a child very happy.

What thread are you referring to? I can only find the one about Hasbro donating to TfT.

:lol  I wasn't sure what the title was suppose to mean till I clicked on it.
Man, if I was rolling in the dough, I'd totally do it.

Also, you may want to request proof, like a pic of the receipt or something.

I bought about 8 good toys for 40, you're making 8 kids happy for 40 instead of 1 with 80... it makes more sense to buy more toys for your money instead of big ones :lol

This is a great idea. This toy isn't for us, anyway. It's totally the TF that kids want the most, but can never get due to the price. Let's clear these things out of the way and make room for more product in the spring, and give some kids the one toy they probably want most this year...

Plus, who knows? If this catches on and Devastator sells right out, maybe Hasbro will get confused and think that the Supreme class is a cash cow and produce toys in this scale regularly. Picture a Supreme-sized Blackout... :D
