Luckily, the Cybertron line already gave me a kick ass Thundercracker. I really wanted a Thrust, but I wanted one with a decent looking head, not a dunce cap. I already planned to kitbash one from a Starscream.

So, I guess I laugh in FP's general direction.

 

Even if I could afford them I wouldn't bite, purely on principle. I'm just glad that nothing too great has been made a Botcon exclusive (reissues and what not).

Between this and my disgust of the movie I just must not be a True Fan™.

i am in need of consolation..... i am unable to get the botcon exclusive seeker set, i just cant justify spending that much on 5 deluxe sized fig...............hey my tax return came in the mail......................

I was kind of mad at first. But then I pulled out my trusty credit card, that I can pay off little by little, and ordered a non-attendee box set. And hey if I decide it was a mistake I can sell it off for hopefully some profit.

 

For me, it was either these guys or BT Black Convoy. I chose these guys... but it was painful accepting that I'll never have a truly complete Binaltech collection. Oh well.... I guess the fact is that most of us have SOME big grail figures that others have and we merely covet from afar.

 

The resulting bloodbath would have been phenomenal.

 

Same here! While my peers got a credit card to get the finer things in life, I got a credit card just for Pay Pal...and like you my expenditure for the last few months have been sky high...so I have to seriously cut down on my expenditure this month (April)!

By the way, can anyone here post me the link showing pictures of this "exclusive" seekers?

Well, the time machine apparently failed, but it sure is a nice set.

 

When I first found out about these (TODAY) I NEEDED to get them, but after reading through this thread I was amazed at how easily I got over it. Thanks to you guys my wallet will be much happier. Like someone already said I think I'll head to Walmart tomorrow, pick up a couple of Ramjets, a couple of Starscreams, and a few cans of spray paint. BINGO...My own exclusives.

 

Well, I'm pissed, but I have an idea. After Botcon, they always put other loose sets up on discount on the Club Store. I'm gonna hoard the allowance in for weeks, only getting the AWESOME movie toys. Then, I'll get the Seekers, for cheap!
