It hasn't opened here that I know of, but I reeeeeealllly want to see this. Strangely enough, it was #2 on my list of must-see movies behind ROTF.

It's actually a pretty great little film. I have no idea why it was released in Europe first last year; perhaps they didn't want a film about the Iraq war during the election season? (Not a political discussion!)

Plus, you she also directed Point Break! :)  (The Hurt Locker is FAR superior, of course.)

And Twilight, but let's not let us hold that against her.

Wanted to see it this weekend but it's only playing in 2 theaters here in KC and neither have cheap showtimes. Looks like I'll have to wait for either a wider release or blu-ray.

I saw a 5 minute preview clip of when the guy was disarming a bomb and a shop keeper set it off. The dude bolted as the bomb exploded slo-mo. The slo-mo scene of the explosion with the dust getting puched off an abandoned car and the shockwave was insane.

Any and all potential War & Political messages this film may convey aside, this movie looks fucking awesome and keeps shit serious.

Trust me guys, the movie is awesome! It keeps everything pretty much real and doesn't tone it down a bit. Everytime the guy goes to disarm a bomb it keeps you in suspense. Very much recommended.

I give it a 7/10. Not really much of a story to it, more a series of scenes where they do their thing. There's a few scenes thrown in here and there to show more character, but not a lot. I found the bomb scenes interesting and well done, though I was never really in suspense.

    Wow! What a movie!

I saw this movie and it was flawless.

Best movie of the year so far!

Also, not only will Jeremy Renner get Best Actor nomination, but he is pitch-perfect for this fella
