I like the idea of a newspaper type format. That's creative. :thumb

I know it's kind of unconventional, but it's in line with the bigger project :)

Glad the concept of the format is welcome, if nothing else ;)

I like the idea. Its different and that's great. And I certainly have to agree about the broken fanbase.

The "interesting" habits of the fandom are what caused us to create HotSlag, and so far I'm enjoying the editorial cartoon format as a new way to comment on our beloved little subculture :)

Lulz, and (completely fake) hard hitting (totally made up) news and (ridiculously biased) opinion journalism, are our two goals. Glad we hit the mark for you!

Nothing does really please the fanbase. Look at BM, Everyone 10 years ago ahted it, now everyone loves it.

I think it's the nature of fandom generally. I try to be a pretty open minded and accepting fan (I for one was a fan of BMechs from day one), but while, for instance, I LOVED Beast Wars while it was in progress, and still tout it as one of the best eras of TF toys and story telling....I find that I'm really not that interested in ever revisiting the era.

The craze one minute is yesterdays crap the next, and the bad idea of one era is the golden-age of the next.

OTOH I'm probably in a perpetual minority for thinking Kiss Play was awesome across the board ;)

Oh, they listen alright. And they make the molds for all transformers out of the sadness and tears of disappointed TF fans, rofl.

:lolol  I'll keep check on this, as I tend to take shots at this too, though in much simpler ways than you do ^^; (with the Hasbro rep announcements in my comic) but it does show campy (comically tragic/tragically comic) sides of fandom.

And rather original format helps. :)  Just try to see if you can scale the pics a bit so the text is easier to read.

Barely keeping my head above water with a recent move, but had time for another HotSlag! Editorial Cartoon!! (And I think the scaling is much better this time!!!)
