That's how I felt about Arcee. But i also tried the 20pct without luck. That's why i passed on this one.

 

Argh...I was sure that I successfully bought one this morning, but now no e-mail or order history really has me thinking I closed out an error page or something.

On the bright side, I finally scored a Slugslinger on Amazon! ...right after I posted about missing it again. Come on HTS, make my day 2/2!

 

They did say at the reveal it would be available later on at a retail partner.

Wow. Kudos to HTS. I just got my shipping notice for Grotusque. It took Hascon Deadpool a week to ship after I ordered him.

 

Not too worried about Grotusque since he'll be available later on but it wouldve been nice if HTS would have split the stock between a morning and evening batch for those working during the mornings.

Also hope Hasbro changes up the front of the box or something to differentiate this set from Arcee's since the boxes are pretty plain.

Mine just shipped, expected delivery in eight days; that's probably the slowest that I've had an HTS shipment arrive.

 

Mine shows an ETA of two days, which is the fastest I've ever seen an HTS package even leave, let alone be scheduled to arrive! I'll believe that when I see it...

 

Hasbro itself is in Rhode Island, but HTS is in PA and while owned by Hasbro, is technically its own separate entity. It drives me nuts how they charge me for tax each and every time. Battery pack Optimus huuuuurt.

Codes don't work on conventions exclusives and specials such as Grotusque, Arcee and battery pack Optimus. Unfortunately.

Where the heck are you? Hawaii?? Wow. 8... Ouch.

Mine is listed as one (I'm right on the Ohio border with PA), but I don't think it's ever worked out that way. Optimus took 2 days, mainly because he sat in PA for hours and then went to Grove City Ohio, only to go back to Erie PA's metro area for delivery. (I'm still not sure why they did that, but whatevs...)

 

Man I'm in NC and my order arrives tomorrow, crazy!

 

The 20% off code did indeed work on Grotusque. He came out to be $19.99 not including shipping and taxes.

It didn't work for most of us. Even talked to customer service about it. They were "working" on the problem just long enough that it went out of stock.

 

HTS is fast. My Arcee arrived the next day. I've received other orders within 2 days.

 

I have a guess as to what happened. If you go to the HTS main page now and select SPECIAL OFFERS > Exclusives, Grotusque is included. When he was first added to the site, he was not on the Exclusives page.

(I know because I checked the Exclusives page when Grotusque was announced to see if maybe they were going to sneak a NYCC Star Wars exclusive in there as well. I was a bit nonplussed at Grotusque's absence from the page.)

If he was originally not marked as part of the "Exclusives" category, there would not have been that restriction.
