I'm not a Halo fan... There I said it...

But the chance to play with some of you guys made me reconsider buying it. So we can start making plans and talking about it...

Which brings me to my question. How many people can play coop on the story mode?

I believe 4 is what I heard. I'm psyched about Halo 3, took the day off from work so I can play all night the 24th. Bwa

Four Player has been confirmed by Bungie.

I took the 25th off as well.

I pretty much can't stand it.

Ironically, I've had it preordered from Amazon for months. But only because it doesn't cost me anything. :)

I wouldn't say I can't stand it, because that would be denial, because we spent hours playing the first one (ala Goldeneye on one console), but I'm just not gaga over it. But like I said, I'll give it a shot to play with the guys here. So is the coop 4 players online also?

Myself and Boardwise spen the August Weekends going through the Halo 1 and 2 campaigns in Co-Op, it was pretty sweet and we had a good time.

I pre-ordered the Legendary edition (Cat Helmet ftw!) about... shit, 8 months ago now, was definitely before I got laid off. Hopefully it will arrive a day early like stuff usually does from this place so I can take Tuesday off sick and play, play, play all day day day.

Not touching Multiplayer until I have finished the fight! FINISH THE FIGHT!

    Not even multiplayer coop?

If I understand it correctly, it is in the same vein as Gears; the multiplayer is incorporated into the campaign mode.

I doubt I can get the "first Born Son" edition, I'll just get the regular one. And yeah, I plan on playing through single first.

Limited only for me. 10 bucks more for a book I can look at without turning the gmae on when I am bored or waiting is much better than a helmet that just sits there to me.

No, I want my first run through to be at my own pace. Once done it is then -on- for 4 player online co-op on LEGENDARY!

    Then we can all be like;

Like Twist said, we went through the Halo 1 & 2 campaigns, and I remember the email conversation about the Legendary edition set when the pre-orders went up.
    'Should I get it?'
    'Dunno, I just did'
    'Me too!'

I also went out and got myself a new HDTV recently, so I'm definatly ready for some Master Chief goodness!

Oh and the IMAX cinema in London has been covered in huge ads for Halo 3

    I couldn't help myself....

I watched the end of Halo3 on Youtube.

With no context, I can only assume so much, but It certainly looks interesting enough.

Please Observe the Startrek collection hilighted and enhanced on the upper right corner of the image, indicating Boardwise's geekdom. You are truly one of us.
Is it Startrek? Babylon 5? Who knows, but it is a collection of some kind... Next Oprah
