I have peer resource for my 2 bad grades last school year, and i was talking with the girl and i was like im starving and she just gave me her bag if trail mix and her friend saw and was shook lol. Either

A. Shes a really nice person
B. She likes me

Having this Friday off (yaaaayy for one long-ass weekend since work is closed on Labor Day)  

 

My boss has informed me that a certain co-worker of mine (who had a bad attitude and liked to boss me around) is no longer working here.

 

In the past 18 months I've:
Joined a spectacular group of craftspeople and hobbyists
Built a costume of a character I created
Attended two conventions
Got engaged with a most amazing individual
Moved

On the not-so-great end of things, my grandmother passed away back in May

Today is the birthday of the greatest human and musician ever, Shiro SAGISU. So, that's a great thing.
I'm also possibly getting a job on Thursday, which would be really awesome.

I got promoted at work today!!!! I'm now the Lead Art Handler. I'll be managing the other art handlers, be in charge of hiring new ones, and helping organize exhibitions. I'll know more details in a few weeks when my boss gets back from a trip

 

I met one of my favorite Persian singers today. Super nice guy - been a fan of his for 20yrs, so it was a awesome to have met him in person.

I got rear-ended last month. The other driver's insurance company paid out about $1500, and because I can do whatever I want with the money, I'm going to order a knockoff bumper for $250, install it myself, and pocket the rest.  

 

i finally contacted my older brother and his family in Miami, they are all safe and sound.

 

I've completed preregistration for my next convention AND organized lodging and a ride. Hot digitty damn!
