We got a new bagger at work today. Hopefully he stays until the summer so that we don't have to worry about it just being three baggers during the day. Most of the other baggers are still in school right now and I'm unavailable on Wednesdays because of classes.

A curator I work with is trying to help me get a solo exhibition at a local art gallery. She and the owner of the gallery are meeting tomorrow morning to work out some details. Assuming everything works out, I'll be making around 8 new paintings for it!

Got a call from my local board of elections! Going in to talk to them tomorrow, getting 25 bucks from that and another 113 by being a greeter on election day at our local voting place. Also next Monday I have an appointment at an employment agency, hopefully they can help me get some temporary work in the coming weeks.

This is an actual question that appeared in one of my school exam papers.

    I don't know what's real anymore.

    Send help.

Work told me to drop everything and go when I found out today a close relative is dying. Much love and respect to a place that treats its employees this way.

Ordered Titans Return Astrotrain. It arrived today and came with a Chromedome i did not order. Wasn't charged for it or anything. Someone screwed up. Freebie i guess. May return it to a store and get credit.

So I've been complaining about my job for quite a while, so here are some good stuff to say:

First off, we moved our office to a new fancier place, that's next to a shopping mall. So in my break time not only do I have a big place to walk an hour, but there's a TRU and game stores. So when I feel like it I can check the latest in toys and games while at work so to speak. Not only that, but we now have a plethora of restaurants to choose from, as well as free parking lots, and it's closer to home. Not by much, but it beats the old places any time. Only down side is the post office is no longer on my way back and I have to backtrack in order to get there.

Unrelated to work, I was also given an "Ideal Driver" award.

I downloaded YGOPRO on my s7 and can now play Yugioh again! I heard the app was taken down, so I didn't bother trying when I upgraded my phone from the s4 to the s7, but it's back up again. Even better, it has all the card art! Excited to play Yugioh again!.. and not spend hundreds to get back into the physical card game.

Managed to snag the Overwatch Origins Edition Metal Pin for $5 at Target - must have been left over from excess stock from pre-orders since it looked extremely slapdash, sticking the price tag on the rather nicely printed bag. But it's one hell of a steal because its not everyday a $50 preorder item is only a tenth of the price. This Target has always been good to me and the temp job I have there now only has been rewarding even moreso.

Picked up my new car yesterday. 2013 Ford Flex, 34k miles. I'm finally driving a car that I picked out for the first time since 2008 (previously I was driving a hand me down from my ex).

People bust on the exterior but I like it. If anything I wish it was more chunky and Brutalist. And inside there's tons of room which I need with 3 kids.

There are way worse vehicles that you could have gotten to accommodate three kids. I also like the way the Flex looks. It's way better than a minivan! Did you get the Ecoboost or standard NA 3.5 engine?

Thanks. It's the standard. The car is pretty much a base model with almost no extras. But thats fine with me because it kept the price down. It still has more features than my old car.

My oldest brother (bless his heart), took me to Italy this past weekend in order spec myself a Pagani Huayra, as a surprise gift. I don't know how I'll truly be able to repay him, but I'll think of something :) .

Is this for real? If so the first thing you can do to repay him is not wreck it by doing something stupid (which includes having the car get away from you due to inexperience).

Don't worry, I plan on babying the hell out of it for a very long time :) . I'm no stranger to fast cars, but this will definitely be a new experience for me out of my other babies. I also figured out what to do for him. Since we were kids, my brother has always wanted to ride in a helicopter, so I set something up for him to get taken out in one here in a couple weeks.
