Today an older gentleman came into my camera store (I don't own the store... I just work there). Apparently a month ago he bought the wrong type of memory card (CF instead of SD). He knew it was too late to return or exchange it and he was extremely cool about it so he bought an SD card and kindly gave me the 2gig CF card, which I now gave to my Mum for her camera.

    Post your good deeds experiences.

From June 08 to December 08 I've made over $2,000 on my RiD through Cybertron collection and it all went to my family for no reason. Though I had not planned to give them it so I doubt that would count as a good deed.

We can post the good deeds we've done for others and the ones we have received?

While driving the other day, some dumbass decided to run out and cross the street in front of my car so I took my foot off the gas.

    Who are you again?

I tend to just do little things. Hold doors open for people, pick up trash next to trash cans, and always give a penny to the "take a penny" cup at gas stations.

The other day, before I murdered my seventh prostitute, I waited until her son was out of the room before I did it. :)

Kill with kindness, not a garden tool. That's my motto. :)

I mostly hold doors for people, donate to the Salvation Army... small things like that.

My big things are donating blood every time I'm eligible (roughly once every two months), donating supplies for the troops in Iraq and donating a large haul of TFs to Toys for Tots every Christmas. I used to donate more money to charity, but the problems the Red Cross had after 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina has convinced me to stick to "in kind" donations.

Beyond that, I do smaller stuff, like holding doors open and trying to be a courteous cyclist.

Me and my other half were driving along and we noticed the car in front had left their car keys in the keyhole for the boot. At the next lights I jumped out, pulled out the keys, and knocked on his window to give them to him.

Silly smk. You've been here for how long and don't know how to read user names yet? Tsk. ;)

But seriously, I've done many good turns. Eagle Scout and such.

since I work till 11 at night, I spend the day cleaning the house for my girlfriend when it needs done so she can sit back and relax when she gets home from work in the afternoon.
I also clean my parent's house whenever I'm over since they're kind enough to let me do our laundry over there free of charge.
I also hold doors open for people, and tend to let others go first at 4 way stop signs, as well as let pedestrians go first in parking lots.
I guess a couple of other things, while not major:
I spend time with my grandma on a consistent basis, since she lives by herself, I'm nice to cashiers and customer service people for the most part cause I know first hand how shit their jobs are, and I recycle.
