The trailer just went up. I love Fincher, and I think this looks fantastic so far. The Trent Reznor/Karen O collaboration isn't hurting that fact much either. YouTube - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo red band trailer‏
If I were you I would see the 1st Adaptation of Stieg Larssons Millennium Trilogy before seeing the 2nd Adaptation that hits theatres this December. 1.The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo 2.The Girl Who Played with Fire 3.The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest
all the youtube links for International Red-Band Bootleg Trailer have been/are being pulled by Sony Pictures. but here is the Official Green-Band U.S. Trailer released by Sony Pictures. also, there is an International Poster proving the past rumor during filming that Rooney Mara did actually have her nipples pierced just for this role. ^ RebelMan, the trailer you linked is the original GWTDT movie starring Noomi Rapace. No offense to Rooney Mara, but Rapace will always be the best Lizbeth on the big screen.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this compares to the original Swedish adaptation. Those swedes really know how to get atmosphere right, so I don't see it being any better. Still haven't seen "Let Me In" yet...
Just saw the movie yesterday and its pretty good! My only complaint is the actor selected to play the villain is always the bad guy in any movie he's in. So it was a little obvious who the killer was but it was a great movie nevertheless
I swear this came out like 2 years ago, but I guess I was just having an identity crisis couse this is another one hah.
Went to see it the other day, and I thought it was excellent, much better than I was expecting. I thought it had great performances and a story that kept me interested throughout. I'm definitely getting it on DVD when it's out, and this is coming from someone who's never read the book or seen the original movie. On a side note, I honestly wasn't expecting to fall head-over-heels for Rooney Mara, but God Damn she is beautiful, and an incredible actress to boot! I feel awful now.
My nephew seen it on Christmas Day and he told me it was a good movie. I might go and see it myself nextweek.
I saw this 2 days ago, and the other 25 or so people in the theater obviously had no idea what they were in for. I don't normally cringe in movies. I did in this one.
Being a fan of the book and never seening the swedish version(I will eventually) I thought it was faithful to the source material and Rooney Mara's performance was absoultely excellent and almost exactly as I pictured her from the book.
