WTF! That's gorgeous! I had no idea these were even being made! Where could one get these?

EDIT: Ah, it's probably an A3Customs piece. Damn, that's just awesome!

    hey man, welcome back!

I agree with you, the G1 boxes hold a lot of value to me. In terms of packaging, nothing has come close to the G1 USA packaging in the last 30+ years. None of the TFs released since then could match up to the beauty and sheer class of the early G1 styled packaging.

But yeah, an expensive exercise. My entire G1 USA run has boxes, so I would know.... eek.

the bubbles are really quite meh. I have a MISB Prowl and Bluestreak, both pre-rubs and the bubbles have dropped off the cardback due to age. That wont happen to Jap pieces!

oh yeah, must be the real thing. I'm going to join your dying breed....

Yep, it's from A3Customs. There are at least two of these in the wild, but Keith said it will be the last he'll make. A bit pricey, but totally worth it. The box is a modern piece of art.

I got mine (MIB) for about 35000 yen two years ago in Japan. It was a "must-get-a-vintage-from-Japan" buy, LOL

Yup that's tad high if it's missing the labels.

Cool! I was eyeing this too :)

I love the details on these G1 Datsuns, and I wish the MPs were the same. That's why those 3P launchers that come with stickers are very appealing to me.

Agreed. Love these 3 G1 figs. The MPs are gorgeous but could use those bits of details. I'm hope that if Hasbro does release these 3, they'll come with the additional detail. But I'm sure as he'll not waiting and buying the MPs now. Ha

Isn't that Bluestreak the Ehobby reissued one? The vintage one should be completely silver and not have the black anime accurate streak.

Ah, Fairlady love. My favorite TF mold ever.
And yes, that's E-hobby Bluestreak with the cartoon-accurate black hood.

Yup that's the eHobby anime accurate version.

I must admit, I'm starting to like this mold more and more. :)

While I'm a fan of Japanese box, Trypticon US box trumps its Japanese counterpart. Nice one!

Nice score Chris. And that's a very good price that you got it for.
