I'm absolutely sure you could, but unfortunately that stand being called a "Star Wars" stand does inflate the price in a way a Hasbro-owned (I think Hasbro owns GI Joe?) license wouldn't.
True as well...Either way, they charged as much as a whole figure for it so, this backdrop, being better looking/more complicated could be overpriced as well. Anyways, I just saw the comment about the SW backdrop and was chiming in on how bad and overpriced it was. This backdrop looks a lot better but the first thing that turned me off was the Commander mask not being chrome.
I'm indifferent to it. On one hand, chrome is really pretty looking, but I do feel that silver paint will attract less fingerprints.
Still waiting to find another 3rd party bootleg plastic version of the original Missile Command. I haven't seen the price on this, but I am not hopeful about it.
I did order 4 of the Joe Con V2 BATS from ebay this afternoon. They will be good to go with my Cesspool and his Skittles colored crew. I wish the Laser vipers were the regular priced $35 or so for exclusives. I'd order two. At $65 a pop I need to pass. I'd also like a Backstop for my Persuader, but I guess that ain't gonna happen. I was keeping up pretty well with exclusives I wanted until Freefall last year. This is getting pretty ridiculous.
NO new joes at stores in 2017 or 2018, that is really bad news, especially for collectors who do not live in the US. How to kill a hobby..... I don't see why people are so obsessed with that stupid cardboard missile center, it's just a piece of cardboard...i can make better things on my own.
Here's hoping enough people feel like you to let the price drop or at least remain. I def think its cool enough to own.
I'll make an effort to grab it but the backdrop being cardboard is somewhat disappointing and the three figures are ones that have been released many times before. Hopefully next year they do something cooler. So does this mean no Transformers-Joe crossover this year?
Yeah, I don't have much interest in the figures. If they get cheap I could load up on some troopers/officers though. I can't see the details yet. Hard to believe CC doesn't have a chrome head.

It's ill timed. Best chance for that exclusive to sell was 10 years ago(holy hell....) for the 25th anniversary. Man Rise of Cobra bombed the brand.
Looking forward to getting FSS Big Lob and officially completing the Rawhide recruits. Still disappointed that they didn't give him legs with any ankle joint articulation though. I just bought the Blu-ray of the animated G.I. Joe movie and I just might pick this up too! Thanks for the heads up!

I wish the '86 Night Raven (with Drone aircraft) would get reissued. It beats the brakes off the modern/live action movie version.
The new version lacks rubber rolling tires, the drone, and a 2 seat cockpit, but otherwise you can't really insult the quality of the toy. In fact, the firing mechanism, lights, and sounds make it exceptional.
