Not for me. I spent a lot of time finding all the holocrons and maxing out my force powers. I am a hidden-item whore.

Played the demo, and it looks good. Having 2 sabers seems kind of just for the hell of it. It would be nice if you had a choice of 1 or 2, or something situational, but, fine. I'll definately be picking this one up.
Dusted off the first one today, and dl'd some dlc. The Jedi Temple and Tattooine. I love this game.

I love throwing the dual sabers at a pile of stormtroopers and watching there heads fall off.

Played the demo. If the rest of the game plays the same way I'm giving it a wide berth, there was basically no challenge there. All the demo consisted of was pumping everything that got in your way with insane Force powers, I can see it getting pretty boring in the long run. What challenge to a drop ship full of Stormtroopers present to a player that can casually pluck TIE fighters out of the sky?

If it's anything like the first game, you can't do all that at the beginning. You have to build up those powers overtime as the game increases in difficulty.

Fair enough, the impression I got from the demo was that this was basically one of the first levels but I suppose they could depower him somehow.

That is usually what happens with demos. They allow the character to be fully powered up to showcase the abilities in the game. Also to avoid spoiling anything it is usually the first level or so in the demo. If this game is like the first, you absolutely will have to rebuild your Force powers over the course of the game, otherwise what would be the point?

I loved the demo. I think it is drastically more refined than the first game and looks amazingly fun. I can't wait for it to come out.

I tried the demo last night. I had a lot of fun, it's enough like the last game, but made some changes for the better. Let's just hope the full version is a blast too.

I'm not digging FUII entirely. The beginning of the demo and the "big splash" were really super-duper cool, but the rest feels like more of the same, but now with super-fast dual lightsabers (which is cool but more showy then practical?). There are some nuances I don't like (ambient sound effects missing, Vader's voice lol :p ) but I'll have to see. I really dug FU when it came out but after getting the Sith Edition, I felt like a dupe and started to dislike the series. I guess you could say I'm going to be cautious about the game.

On a side, I'm relieved that they fixed the menu screens.

The demo was cool. My fav move in the game has to be that attack where you combine your Force Lightning with your Saber slashes to make this Giant Electric X cut.

Finally tried out the demo. Seems like a pretty cool game. Will be picking it up tomorrow, hopefully.

Well.. kind of fun to play with for a bit, but oh god... I really, really hate Starkiller now.

And the length of the game is terrible. I don't know if I want to pay full price for this anymore.

Finally got around to playing the demo, and I have to say, the second feels much more constipated as compared to the first. Whereas the first was fast moving and felt like you were an indestructible force, the second felt like you had to spend more time being flashy to attract the same dozen Stormtroopers and a War Droid.

GameInformer says that the actual gameplay is better, but the story and characterization is lackluster at best, being described as a shadow of it's former self. Final score was a 78/100.

Guess what? I don't care. It's SW, and I am gonna like it just like I did the first one, and hopefully a little more. Collector's edition of everything for me.

People will always disagree how story and characters feel. Frankly I thought the first game had a very meh story and I really disliked all the characters except Vader, especially that shoehorned-in love-interest bimbo and hella-stupid robot.

But... but.... he let Darth Maul have another 15 minutes of fame :(

Pumped for the game tomorrow, not pumped that i'm going to have to struggle to fit in in with all these other great games out.
