I'm surprised the thread isn't locked by now.

I do think Optimus would win though.

i would never wanna do BM cause my dad took HP off my mind by getting me a Lego city boat instead off a wand and Voldemort's head and that because a lady asked what was better rotf battle ops BB or a fat yellow robot and i said BB and she asked what we were buying and i said the 40 dollar wand and she said that was evil and wasn't for kids so i got the 40 dollar Lego set and i thought i would never like tfs but i like and lego them now so i thank her for that because there would be buddu in my room instead of tfs and Lego's

If this thread is locked. It's my fault. I probably shouldn't have mentioned Dumbledore, I was just thinking of a random fictional character.

You DON'T need to give an extended back story for everything you say, dude.

Some superheroes are legitimately pretty fucking amazing, and have been from the start. Like Superman...he's a dick and a goodie goodie but Superman is a force to be reckoned with. It literally takes magic, Lex Luthor, and Batman who really have the ability to put him down for good. I suppose there's Doomsday too, but as a product of the 90s I tend to blank my mind to much of that terrible era. Anyways, Superman pretty much got nerfed at the end of Crisis, and he's still goddamn powerful.

Like the Hulk. He's ALWAYS been stupidly powerful. Various Green Lanterns are awesome, and there's Batman even without powers. I get the feeling that not a lot of Transformers fans tend to be DC/Marvel fans, and really only read comics if they're Transformers related, so they don't really know how stupidly powerful a lot of superheroes are. Marvel's Thor is a genuine god of mythology, hell.

People here underestimate the DC and Marvel powered superheroes. I saw someone mention how Energon is an analog of Kryptonite? I don't buy it. I also don't buy how Energon could affect the Flash. If we're talking about Wally, he could fuckin' dimensionally phase around Energon and get past it like it wasn't even there.

That's just the nature of the beast. Transformers is a property that's mostly based on physics and science, whereas superheroes patently break the laws of physics. It isn't hard to see who would win in a hypothetical situation.

On one hand you have robots that can be killed by human engineered tech like in Bay or IDW, and on the other hand you have a human being who can go faster than the speed of light in space...

Wouldn't movieverse Iron Man be almost on the same level as Transformers? With the way they've tried to ground it in reality and physics and make everything believable and realistic, it seems like he could be an even match for Transformers.

Iron Man really built his powers, unless you call his super smarts a power lol. Therefore Iron Man shouldn't really break any laws of physics and such, right?

If only there were a way to REPORT threads to the moderators with the power to lock it, or a section to ask for their TECH SUPPORT on things like this.

You KNOW Transformers is based on the concepts of Primus and the Allspark, and is IDOLATRY using those standards, right?

I'm just going to let Skeletor field my answer to this one:

Yeah, I'd agree with that. He'd probably be able to give them a pretty even fight.

Marvel Movieverse is pretty even, yeah, because they do not blatantly break physics like the comics do. I'd argue that some of the maneuvers that Tony and Rhodie do in their suits would kill them due to multiple organ failure and trauma, but we can let that slide a little. :lol

I would take the Hulk vs. most TFs, 1 on 1. His strength levels have no real limit, he is essentially unstoppable. Anyone read World War Hulk? That is exactly my point.

Yeah, the hulk could probably take a TF, given he's got that "more angry = more strength" thing, durability and regeneration, and he's used to clobbering big robots.

Grimlock would be the TF vision of Hulk, yes. I can see a match between those two, that would be epic.

It's also interesting because you have variations on both characters.

Green Hulk -> G1 Cartoon Grimlock
Grey Hulk -> Marvel Comics Grimlock

So it seems. Also there both share similarity by saying something disruptive like "Hulk smash" or with Grimlock "Me smash" which is quite thrilling.

Technically, it should be "What in the HELL?". The emphasis is on the wrong word and when I try to say that it just sounds so wrong. :D
