    man i really just wish they looked a lot more like the g1 versions. i know they're "alien" and what not, and they shouldn't look "human" but then again.. cars can't actually turn into robots and have "feelings" so that can't be an excuse. i liked the fake test shot of optimus from a while back, i wish that would have been close to what to movie characters would look like.

    Is that your tweaking in the one on the left? Because that actually looks okay...as in, recognizably Megatron. As far as the head anyway; shame about everything below that still.

    In BATTLEMODE it actually looks like an updated G1 GALVATRON!!!

    Can someone animate a looping morph between the 2 original images PLEASE

    It looks like the new "normal mode" is pretty much the old "battle mode" with a more pronounced crown, and the new "battle mode" is what we saw in the prequel comic preview.

    Can't it? No, our cars can't turn into robots, but advanced enough robots could have feelings or turn into cars.

    The helmet design is improved, but I'm not digging the face still. I think it's the flared nostrils that's putting me off. Or the fact that all those lines on his face remind me of a scarecrow or any of the unhealthy looking cadavers I see.

    Anyways, I think color will improve what I'm seeing.

    Megatron so far is the only Movie 07 Transformer that I cannot find any excitement for. I hope Optimus gets to punch Megatron's lights out.

    THE BATTLEMODE EXTRAS ARE A HELMET THAT ASSEMBLES OVER HIS NORMAL HEAD, probably from the weird sinues on his BODY!!!

    I mean, the more I think of it, the more it is really that sinister. His battle mode IS Megatron, but just beneath that veneer of civility is a mechanical monster waiting to eat your soul!
