Since this is lost in the thread about the ShoWest footage, I thought I'd show some evidence for the Fallen being as tall as Jetfire. First, in Defiance #4, we see the Fallen as being very large: Now this was an interesting post I found about his height based on the teaser trailer. The Superhero Hype! Boards - View Single Post - Transformers 2 new characters scale discussion thread But we see in the colouring book Optimus is about to decapitate the Fallen. So who should we take as the most informed?
OK, I don't get why this image of the Fallen against a pyramid and the sun harvester keeps disappearing, but it's here. Awesome Transformers Toys News Reviews
Well I always thought he would be bigger than Megatron, but not THAT big. I'd say something around 50 ft or so.
Daawastator is supposedly 50 feet, don't you just miss when TF's were super tall the newer generations seem to be making them smaller.
In comparison to that pyramid, The Fallen is rather imposing. At seventy feet, he's roughly twice as tall as Megatron (who was supposed to be arounf thirty-five feet tall in TF1, I believe -- correct me if I'm wrong). Quite frankly, I think he needs to be this tall. He is supposed to be a truly and thoroughly evil being. Physical stature of that enormity is definitely imposing and only adds to his menace.
Judging by the trailer, The Fallen is basically as low as he can crouch and still something like 4 to 5 times the height of a human. Say, 20ft to be on the safe side. Its not excessive to say he'll be 60ft plus when he stands fully erect. About the height of Jetfire.
I agree. He has to be rather imposing considering he's one of the original 13. I mean Primus and Unicron are planets for Christ's sake!!
Yea i wasnt expecting him to be as big at 70 but i think it will look amazing since The Fallen is one of the original cons. I cant wait to see Devastator towering over everyone, 120ft is gonna be insane lol.
look its really easy, just look at the trailer and compare the size of his face to the size of the humans stood next to him. they are about the same size. that makes him somewhere in the region of twice the size of megatron, somewhere between 60-80
Well if The Fallen is 70 feet tall Devs would still tower another 50 feet so imo i guess he could/might be 70 feet tall.
OK guys, I'm sorry to bump up my old thread but I've had a few thoughts on this: The novelization, based on an old script, describes Optimus as looking like an infant compared to the Fallen. In that version, the Fallen doesn't appear in person until he makes a grab for the Matrix. I think what happened is in that version of the script, The Fallen was a far more elemental character, trapped within a sarcophogus, so it made sense to have him like a huge 70 feet tall shadow when he finally appeared. Yet in the final film, The Fallen isn't the true leader of the Decepticons, he's just an old hero of Megatron's that he keeps around for advice, he isn't trapped in another dimension, and he isn't one of the original 13 Transformers, he's just one of seven Primes from 17,000 BC. So any guesses on how big he was in the final film?
Fallen is Megatron's old hero he keeps around for advice? Did you and I watch the same movie? Fallen was the Decepticon leader,Megatron was just second in command. I saw the Robot Heroes Egyptian set the other day,and noticed Fallen is one of those big Robot Heroes, kind of like Apocalypse from the Marvel Comics Heroes.
