EDIT: for those of you having a hard time seeing what it is meant to be, there are two evil looking eyes either side of the image, with a faceplate/brdige of nose in the middle. i've put blue boxes around the eyes here:

 

I was also thinking what that could be.
looks somewhat like a skull.

 

I would imagine it would look somthing like a protos arcon from starcraft, only more huminoid? It sounded cool in my head, what do you think KJ?

 

i think that if it is the centrepoint of the packaging for a film called revenge of the fallen, there's only one character it could be. im sure he'll look alot more murderous than an archon too!

 

It looks like a cross between Starscream and Bonecrusher.

 

i think it's quite obviously the same eyes as are shown in the background of the cover to the prequel comic,the same prequel comic that was stated as revealing who the fallen is:

its not nothingness, it's clearly a decepticon's eyes, split up in the same way as barricade and brawl, and it's the centrepiece of the revenge of the fallen toy packaging, as seen containing the target ROTF superion set.

 

If only we could see the top of the box!

thanks for the picture, but maybe its just a box design and isnt anything specific

 

it might be nothing, but the box art looks suspiciously like a flat skin for a polygon model. if you play first person shooters, or messed with mods you'll know what i'm talking about.

 

How do we know it's his head? Or any part of him? Or any robot? Or anything besides just box details for that matter?

I suppose the red "lights" to either side could be the eyes, with the prominent design being the forehead...

 

this pretty much confirms my adamant early beliefs that megatron is in fact not the fallen

 

like i said, the prequel comic was stated to reveal who the fallen is, and on the cover, has a set of eyes appearing out of the flash of light behind wreckage. you can see this on page 1, where i posted the comic cover.

the design from the packaging is clearly the same set of eyes. so these eyes are the centrepiece of the comic which reveals who the fallen is, and also the cenrepiece of the packaging for the movie toys. i think that's pretty conclusive evidence.

It's a set of eyes. It's like that time Metal Gear Solid 2 was coming out and the ninja was shown in the trailer and you briefly saw a face behind the mask. You know what it is but none of what it means.

This is kinda fun actually, I mean, those eyes could be ANYTHING. But we'll know soon enough.

The real question is, have you found the hidden Decepticon logo on the packaging?

 

I see two of 'em, actually, Mr Smarty Pants.

There's also an Autobot logo next to the wing of the upper left bot.

Funny, wasn't even paying that much attention to the inside of the box until your post..like the cyberglyphs!
