During Partners, Bulkhead says something about The Fallen to Starscream. Did anybody catch what he said?

"Hah! And I'm lobbying with The Fallen!"

Lobbying as in the cybertronian sport they showed at Con Job

Starscream: "I want to be on your side"
Bulkhead: "On our side? Haha, yeah right. And I've been lobbing with the Fallen."

At least, that's what it sounded like.
I hope this could be a foreshadowing and they make the Fallen have an appearance in Prime. :bay

It's actually lobbing, lobbying is seeking to influence someone on an issue.

But yeah, other than that little technicality, shroobmaster's correct.

If The Fallen shows up in Prime, Bulkhead/Wheeljack better challenge him to a game of lob, Devil Went Down to Georgia playing in the background.

I noticed it too. It might be nothing, but if Unicron ends up appearing I wouldn't be surprised if The Fallen showed up too as one of his heralds.

To point out, lobbing is basically catch. Wheeljack and Bulkhead played it in his episode and we were introduced to the game at that time.

He said it not as a foreshadowing but as a dismissive remark. It was his way of saying, "I'll believe him when pigs fly." In this case he would not be foreshadowing a Transformer Beast Wars Fuzor type character.

I like how they brought up lobbing again. Seems like Bulkhead really likes the game.

I wish there were more mentions of cybertronian culture in general, that's one of the things that's always left out of transformers media. The transformers get to learn a whole lot about Earth, but the reverse barely takes place.

Yeah, he mentioned something like that in the being.

We'll see, he could be in the second season.

I hope they expand on Megatronus, show him with an inner conflict between loyalty to his brothers (and sister) against his duty as a Guardian of Entropy.

It would be neat, if the fallen (megatronus) would show up and would make megatron step down from power.

Yup, noticed it too! On the thread about speculations on who the character was, I mwntioned my opinion that The Fallen is a Bayverse-only character. Guess I was wrong. But I still think it's no more than just a mention rather than an actual set-up to an appearance.
Dno't expect Bulk to say "Lobbing with Unicron" because it's too much of a spoiler. lol what if he ends up lobbing with The Fallen!?

Is it a bad thing that I remember more of "The Devil Went Down to Jamaica" than the original?

Never-the-less, it confirms the fact that such a character exists in the “Prime Universe/Primeverse*”.

    * Is there such a word in the fandom as Primeverse or did I just invent one?

Funfact: I’m the first person in the fandom to use the term “DOTM” someone once told me. Holy Moly! How about that!?! :D

Mate, I think you just invented a new word. Way to go!

As for what Bulkhead said, I rewatched the episode and heard this: "Yeah, and I've been lobbing with The Fallen."

    Foreshadowing anyone?

caught that too i think that may have been a deliberate hint..i think its a no brainer that the fallen will turn up even though this has many g1 influences and hints towards g1 its still a bayverse film spin off .

That would be nice, give us a look into Cybertronian culture. Maybe something for season 2?

Yup, if only because you can't reference a character that doesn't exist. :lol  I'm hoping the Fallen shows up at some point. I like the idea behind his character, and IMO he'd be a better choice than Unicron.

How do you figure that? While some of the choices in character design and personality may be movie-verse inspired, Prime is its own shindig.

I won't say it's not foreshadowing, but I took it more as a mythology/history reference to show something's unlikelyhood. A bit like "Yeah, and the guy next door is Elvis", or "Sure, and I'm the Queen of England". The Fallen is a part of cybertronian culture through their mythos, and history, thus he's entered the popular lexicon. Not to say that he's never going to return at some point (which is admittedly likely, if Orci and Kurtzman want a take two post RotF.) He's possibly like a dark King Arthur, prophesised to return at some dark hour, and his true origins shrouded in so much myth many have dismissed them entirely - admittedly I'm fanoning a bit here, but it seems like a sensible assumption.
