I saw this image in another thread

Now, in the enhanced image you can clearly see that the Fallen appears to have the head Dress (I don't know the actual name  ) of a Pharaoh and this makes me assume he was indeed seen as a God to the Egyptians, as far as I know this hasn't been confirmed but it's been revealed simply as a rumour.

if this is indeed true then I hold very high hopes for The Fallen's design

I think that artical in Empire magazine said something about the Fallen was seen as a god


edit: I was wrong. I read that in a thread about that new poster with the Fallen on it

 

Oh well, I'd love him to have a head-dress as, I dunno, I just think it would look really, really cool

Well there was some other speculation I did in another thread witch made him also feel like a God on Cybertron.

I like this theory, even moreso if that is an egyptian headdress on the fallen. That would be badass

Apep was a snake. With his long pointy snout and ear-like crests the fallen looks more like anubis to me, who was the god of death and mummification -

Hmmm, I like the idea of him being Anubis but I think Apep fits the bill a bit more (Personality *I know we don't know much about the Fallen*)

 

apep is a bit too far out there i think.. that description you initially posted is a literal one, apep was a giant snake who lived either in the sky or in the mountains in the west, and tried to strangle ra (the sun god) at the same time every day, which is what caused night, and morning was caused by ra managing to fight him off. can't see them managing to work that one into the script..

 

The Fallen being the deity snake Apep to the Ancient Egyptians sounds possible. I was thinking the Fallen could well be of a dragon-esque or serpent-type design.

 

Ah man please dont tell me its gonna be like a ''the transformers helped the egyptians building the pyramids'' and all the egyptian gods hyroglyphs, mythology and pharos are actually transformers!! Lame man!!

 

Well, then the consperacy therorist guy from National Treasure would be right about the aliens helping build the Pyramids, then.

 

Plus Anubis is a more well-known Egyptian God

 

I can already picture the story, The FAllen is under a pyramid that was actually built for him as a spacebridge to Cybertron... Something happened back then and thats why he s down there... Starscream or Soundwave know about this, they want him to revive Megatron, they have The Constructicons diging out, he s pissed, they fight...

fallen is not god - fallen is one of primus 's kids

 

based on war within. but the point here isn't that he is a god, he is being seen as a god by an ancient culture. much like the g1 episode the god gambit, where astrotrain made himself out as a god to a primative culture

 

I always thought that crap stuck to his head was some kind of binding or something similar, something 'locking him' down or... something. I dunno, just..... meh
