Big thanks to Frenzy_Rumble for the initial inspiration for this. His was damn near perfect, so I wanted to try and make my version more "gritty" and with a different head. I like the thought of the modified Jetfire head for the earth mode Fallen as it has some of the same attributes as the original Fallen's head.

Nice head choice. I like how the cow catcher/mine sweeper rake on the tank is a similar element on the head of the figure. Nice paint job and awesome details!

Although I'm not too big on the head, I love those flames. What did you use for that orange, I always wonder what makes that neon-ish effect..If you don't mind sharing...

One of the EXACT reasons I used this head! Nice eye!

    Thanks!

Meh.... I can't please everybody. Thanks for the compliments though. You answered your own question regarding the orange. It is a neon orange base that I gradually lighten as it is applied. This is the style Frenzy_Rumble perfected on his customs.

Great job on this guy Z! It would be terrifying to see either mode rumbling at you on a battlefield!

Now THAT is an earth mode Fallen. Looks menacing, and the furnace-effect works quite well. The head you used is quite a brilliant touch as well; not only does it look like a movie-fied Fallen, but it even looks like he has the 'headdress' of the actual RotF Fallen. The flames work quite well too. Could maybe use some more yellow to make them pop, but that could go quite wrong as well, so this works too. And the ammo belt is quite a neat little touch as well.

Have you considered going further with the RotF influence, and making his barrel removeable and able to turn into some kind of staff? Maybe even pop a blade onto it to complete the look? If you take Energon Cruellock's sword, sharpened it a bit to get rid of the dull edges and then pop it on, you could get a wicked looking halberd that could fit this custom perfectly.

This head pretty fits the Evil image of "The Fallen". I really like it and I'll try mine using jetfire head too. Thx for sharing and creative idea!

    Thanks for the compliments!

Now that is a cool idea. I was trying to think if a way to incorporate a staff with him and you just gave me the perfect idea. Thanks.

I guess so..... huh, different head and overall look though. His is the deluxe version, so I can sssume the flames were a HELL of a lot easier to make! I know mine gave me fits!

Thanks for the compliments on MY work though. :thumbs2:

What I love most is the burnt effect on the tank mode. Veeery nice...

This is not a criticism or anything, but the flames wreathing his head makes him resemble some demonic clown. The 'happy grin' adds to the effect. It almost gives the figure a 'Loki-ish' feel which I felt was quite appropriate for the Fallen. Personal interpretation, anyway.

    Good job! :)
