Another idea popped into my head. What if the Fallen is in the movie as a herald of Unicron? The movie might have some explanation of TF mythology at the beginning and the Fallen is a possible sleeper sent by Unicron to susceptible worlds for devouring. Since it appears Megatron is a tank in this movie, much like Galvatron, perhaps the purpose of the Fallen is actually to create an army for Unicron from the fallen TFs on earth, much like Unicron reformatted Megatron. I doubt we'd see Unicron in this movie but its a possibility for a future film. I know Bay doesn't like to set up for sequels, but in the first film he left the door open for Galvatron, he sent Starscream into the atmosphere, and he got Optimus to send a beacon into space. Those sound like set ups to me.

Just my mind sputtering away... thoughts?

I've considered that also. Very good chance, if the Fallen is being implemented into the movie-verse, that we will eventually see Unicron. Let's just hope that if it happens, they'll go all out, and not pull crap like Fantastic Four 2.

I kinda like that idea. However, I fear that if Unicron were to appear in the movies, he would end up being like Galactus in FF2.

Knowing Bay, he wouldn't go for some obscure cloud if it meant blowing things up less. Unicron is going to be a huge badass robot that makes everything explode. Just as he should be.

So, since they're kinda getting into the Transformers mythology, you think Primus will be shown or mentioned? If Unicron were to be in the third movie, I would think so.

What? You want to reduce him from some as awe-inspiring and tangible as a planet? I know Bay won't skimp on Unicron.

Yay i really dont feel like them fighting a robot death star... That would look so corny there are some things that just arent meant for the movies. Childrens cartoons is one thing but a robot as big as like earth is stupid.

Let me be flamed by all of you hardcore unicron fans! lol:bowdown:

Well...we all know what happens when the Allspark comes into contact with something mechanical. What IF the Allspark collided with the Death Star?

Planet sized machines worked in a galaxy far far away... and Cybertron is a mechanical planet...

I wouldn't count anything out to be honest... It surprises me how so many people want a movie that's based on a cartoon to ditch everything that makes it interesting. Like.... its Transformers... it isn't real nor is it trying to be.

OK, how about Unicron as the timetravelling Romulan ship from Star Trek?

Anyway, I can't wait to see what a Bay Unicron would look like.

I feel unicron shouldn't be a planet, I think he should be something along the lines, of the reaper ships in mass effect, that would be so much more appropriate, only giving him the abillity to transform, or for that matter not so much eat worlds but able to turn them into a sentient alter-verse. That would be a great way to explain the pretenders...sort of encasing the earth with world-sized claws, and slowly processing not only earths machines, but all organic life into a symbiotic transformation of flesh and machine

    ....god I amaze myself

Well apart from Orci saying how they approached this movie as an individual story (and not a setup for a 3rd movie), why should the Fallen be a setup for an even bigger monster of a Transformer? Perhaps the Fallen is going to be Bay's ultimate evil Transformer 'god', the movie's equivalent to Unicron? Perhaps the movie's concept of the Fallen will possess attributes of Unicron?
