He means an Autobot who will do questionable things to achieve "justice" much like Sentinel Prime from DOTM.

I'd love for it to be. TF media needs more moral ambiguity.

Quite possibly. We have two sets of evidence of an upcoming character and some evidence that he would not obey Optimus.

1.) In Orion Pax, we see an unnamed character design that's being used in the Decepticon Archives as Optimus Prime, while he thinks he's Orion. Many think the design could work as Ultra Magnus.

2.) We then get father evidence towards him by the fact that he's getting a Cyberverse toy. A toy and something that looks like a character model gives us good reason to believe Ultra Magnus will appear in the show.

Magnus most likely is in HASBRO's story bible for this generation. That means him being a Wrecker in Exodus would mean he's a Wrecker in Prime. If Magnus is a Wrecker, he would most likely share Wheeljacks problem with authority.

    Sentinel Prime.

He believes his ways are superior to everyone else's, right to the point he's a complete douche. DOTM Sentinel wasn't as stuck-up and douchey, and was definitely more compassionate, but would go to the extreme of killing his own men if it came right down to it.

Oh okay. Thanks for answering. :)

Now THAT I would love to see happen! :thumb

Arcee's just letting her anger and pain of losing the people she cares about get the better of her thinking at times when she's near Airachnid and/or Starscream. Other then those flaws she's certainly dedicated to the Autobot cause and despite her arguments and hot headedness had never showed any signs of contempt for Optimus's teachings and the cause.

Wheeljack while actually had questioned Optimus's athoroty and role not to mention did the Cybertonian equlvlant of shoving it at Fowler doens't seem the type to go as far as both versions of Sentinal. He does have a great sense of retraint when needed.

The Extremist Autobot Leader role in my opinon fits Grimlock greatly. Think about it not only does he have problems with Optimus's atourty but is truelt willing to cross the line to end the war by any means necessary even at the cost of innocent lives.

Though both have demonstrated questionable behavior, both have yet to display questionable ethics.

An extremist Autobot leader would display such questionable ethics.

EDIT: If there is an extremist Autobot splinter faction, conversely there is should be a compassionate Decepticon splinter faction.

Actually she's not. Yes she's shown to be revenge driven at some points but it's not on the levels like say Depthcharge. In case you don't remember she was pretty shocked about the way Ratchet interrogated that Vehicon in Stronger Faster which tells me that she's not the type to go that far.

Arcee could count as a little squeaky-hinged, but she's just a second, while Wheeljack isn't the leader of anything and he's a Wrecker anyways. So, uh.

I would love to see something like that even if it was only one of each example. That compassionate Decepticon might be Dreadwing, but if it was someone else and they met, it could give a lot of character development to Dreadwing.

Hm... That could be a good way to introduce Ironhide.
He can hate humans, and kinda risk the whole mission until he realizes what's right and wrong.

Actually, I think Optimus┬┤reluctance to put Reason Before Honor, even in extreme situations, is mostly because his fear to become like Sentinel Zeta Prime. Also, since OP carries the Wisdom of the Primes, he knows first hand all of ZP┬┤s misdeeds and crimes.
