I really like that bio. I especially like the part where Magnus doesn't feel he belongs in a "peaceful realm." Being a soldier is just in the mech fluid (so to speak). I also like the abilities he's been given. Very often when I decide to buy a toy I am on the fence whether to buy it or not. More often than not, the character of the toy makes me decide whether or not to buy it. I would reconsider not buying this one if it wasn't so expensive. This is a hard month for me: new Alternators, Beast Wars 10th figures, Star Wars TFs and Cybertron figures are all out this month.

The more I see this, the more I'm thinking of buying it, But I must stand firm, still got Pepsi Convoy and THS02 to pay off.

Very cool bio. Was it written by Ichikawa-san?

The Reconfiguration Matrix, isn't that something the original G2 Pime had? Here it says that Ultra Magnus can now switch between Laser Magnus and his original G1 body. Cool!

Yes. Especially considering Doug did the translation. ;)

The mobile battle fortress was also mentioned in Binaltech Laserwave's story. I seem to recall that Ichikawa took it from some preexisting story which just escapes me at the moment.

Darn it, I'll be getting this figure. I was hoping I could pass, but I don't think so.
