    I demand a brown, gray and orange Gordon Freeman inspired repaint of Crowbar.

    So are you gonna call Shockwave Blitzwing? :p

    Crowbar and Hatchet fit better, really, especially with Crowbar's bio characterization and Hatchet's, well, brutallity and animalistic qualities.

    Just had a moment of fridge brilliance with Crowbar and Hatchet's names.
    They're all intel/special ops types right? so...
    Crowbar = Prying tool
    Hatchet = Hacking tool

    Shame Crankcase doesn't fit the theme...

    Thank you.
    But then again, he kind of WAS a dumbass, if you analyze the chase, he was unable to do one GOD DAMN thing right:

    *Crowbar leaps for Bumblebebee* "HA-HA! GOTCH--" *crashes on a sign*

    *Crowbar pulls out a spear* "DIE IRONHID--" *Ironhide grabs the spear and kills Crankcase with it* "..That's not my Spear, man, I TELL YOU!"

    *Crowbar leaps for Ironhide* "PREPARE TO DI--OH SHIT!" *dies*

    Crankcase is probably facepalming eternally on the allspark.

    Laughed. my. ass. off.

    REAL MEN Stop bullet with their faces. BEYATCH!

    Saved them all, except for the last one.
    But now that I think about that...I wonder if the Dreads "bleeding" was a homage to Predator as well? ["He bleeds, we can kill him!"].

    I think that's more an extension of the idea that MB had since the ROTF; he wanted to have the Bots expel fluids (by bleeding or spitting) to make them more life-like... Megatron also bled some red substance in the forest fight, Starscream constantly spat and now this two Dreads (in fact when they talk there's still liquid coming out of their mouths).

    Now repeating something I said in the MB Forums... I liked how the Mexican stand-off scene showed the Decepticons (& Autobots) capable of more than just brutally fight each other. The fact that Ironhide and Sideswipe offered them a chance to leave, and that the Dreads looked at each other and (deceptively) agreed to drop their weapons. For a minute I tought they would act like a typical mindless evil guys, ignore the offer and attack, but no instead they "surrendered" to gain some advantage.

    I thought they were really cool too - shame they didn't have even more time on screen. I also noticed the "Predator" thing - actually that's the first thought that came to mind for me.

    The "blood" thing was a bit strange (though rather cool, though), I thought perhaps it might have been transmission fluid since that is also red.

    I loved them for their potential to be freakin' awesome. I still like them no matter what, but they were underused

    True, that's why the Mexican Standoff is one of my favorite pieces of TF action [alongside Wheelie and Brains taking down the Mothership]: it shows that TFs have not only the brawls, but the BRAINS as well.

    The Dreads actually were pretty smart now that I think of, but Ironhide and Sideswipe were faster on the trigger, unfortunately.

    Well, I guess they can still appear as CloneDrones in TF4.

    Crowbar's dialogue only confirms that he is a dumbass.

    I liked them. The way they were pursuing Sentinel, Bee, Sideswipe and Dino was really creepy and evil. Even though they were taking out, they were a good addition to the live action movieverse.

    Much cooler than I had hoped for. I figured they'd all be either Crankcase drones or just generic protoforms.

    Didn't like how they were all SUVs though (Chevy Suburbans?).
