Got scout class Scalpel/"The Doctor" and I've run into an issue... How do you get him to stand in robot mode? Tho official photos and instructions show his legs sprayed out, insect-like, but the limited range of the ball-joints (an oxymoron I know) prevent them from spreading out enough to point in any direction but back inwards. Like so: .__ |__ / \ The only way I've found to make him look, in any way, accurate (and in-fact, stand at all) in robot mode is to rotate the upper body so that he rests on the base of the microscope (black side up), fold the bases panels down to form a smaller one (so that it forms an "I" shape when viewed from underneith), and rotate the legs so that they point outwards. They still can't spread far enough apart to actually touch the ground, but at least it stands and looks "kinda-right". ___./\ _| Is there something I'm missing here or is that how it's supposed to be? It just seems odd to me that the legs wouldn't be able to be positioned for support at all... I mean, isn't that what legs are for?
