The blackest, most brutal metal album of all time, from the world's most famous band ever, has arrived. Dethklok has released the DethAlbum, featuring full length versions of songs heard in the show, 3 songs recovered in full from Nathan Explosion's constant deletion of songs, and new songs. Plus the deluxe edition has a second cd with extra songs and the first episode of Season 2. I listened to the regular version earlier, and as soon as I find it, the deluxe edition will be mine.

I generally don't like heavy metal, but I have to make an exception in Dethkloks case.

I had the "2007 Promo" for a few weeks, but I went out yesterday and found the deluxe edition at Hot Topic of all places for $16.99 (which seems overpriced as the regular CD at Target is $9.99)...

Extra stuff is cool... but of the 7 additional tracks, only 2 come off as songs in the same vein as the regular album. "Hatredy" and "Blood Ocean". Of the other five tracks, "Pickles Intro" and "Dethklok gets in Tune" are just the characters talking (funny though, but not songs), there's the "Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle" and then two kinda wacky tracks, "Kill You" sung in falsetto I think by Pickles, and "Murdertrain a'Coming" which is cool but silly.

Haven't watched the DVD features, first episode of Season 2 and the "Bloodrocuted" video... (also deluxe edition has lyrics for extra songs by the way but no lyrics for the "DethTheme")

This is a sick album. Go forth, and get it if you're even thinking about it. AOL was giving a free listen yesterday... it might still be there. There myspace/dethklok has samples and songs on it too.

I bought the album after waiting weeks for it to be released. It's definately metal. I may have paid overpriced for it at Hot Topic, but I don't care. I feel that it was worth every dollar I spent. For those who have not gone out and bought it, GO FORTH AND BUY!!!!! :D

Favorite song so far? I know I'm loving "Go into the Water." It reminds me of why guitars and metal are awesome.

"Hatredcopter" and "Better Metal Snake" are my favorites, though then again they both have the novelty of being completely new, so that may bias me a little. But MAN, I heart Dethklok. They better come out with a second CD around this time next year with all their Season 2 stuff.

Ditto to Go Into The Water.

I also think that Thunderhorse, Awaken, and Castraikron rule too :rock

I always thought Go Into The Water on it's own wasn't THAT great, I think most people that have blown so many loads over it is mostly because of the crazy over-dramatic scene it was in on the show, but that's just me

It sounds great, yeah, but without that visual it doesn't have the same impact.

This is fucking METAL FROM THE DARKEST, BLACK PITS OF DARKNESS, TIMES INFINITY.

If you have only passing interest, the 1-disc will suffice.

But if you are in any way even a semblence of a Dethklok fan, you MUST get ahold of the 2-disc. So many injokes. :lol

Its true that over-all its a simple song, but there's something about the music that I really like.

I swear, if I ever make a music video, it will be with Movie Blackout to "Hatredcopter". Because I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM whenever I hear that song, it fits so perfectly.

I'm really digging Go Forth and Die. Hell, I love the whole album. Some of it reminds me of Iced Earth
