EDIT: Found a 16MB version of the Devastator pic - so here's a better view of Overload... guess we can see why he didn't make it to the figure - his design doesn't appear to have been finalized...

FYI - the claws on the back of the tractor are technically called "rippers".
Sorta makes sense why the production team would add them to the Cat...

Anyone got any pics of Mixmasters alt mode? I'm going to try and rebuild the cab to be a bit more accurate. Specifically the grille and cowcatcher. (building the hood ornament as well  )

Nothing much to add, but found some cool paint reference pics...

 

Here are some ref.pics of Bumblebee. No ROTF but it will give in general an idea.

 

Not a picture to give, but an observation.

Autobots, in addition to having blue eyes, tend to have a small, dark/black "pupil" in the middle of their eye. You can't always see it but its there. It really adds a lot of humanity to the characters (or at least I bet that's the idea).

Decepticons don't have this. They just have a white/orangish center to the red glow. Perhaps they just are more intense lights or its because red is a lighter color than blue.

NOTE: After some review, I will say that MOST Decepticons don't have this. While Megatron, Jetfire, Starscream, and all them just have red eyes, Soundwave does have pupils...ironic considering he usually has a visor in previous media.

While the color palettes may or may not be available as a document such as some of the photos posted, the studios themselves would have to operate from such documents/palettes. Regardless, I'd recommend simply checking GM Motor's site for some color palettes for the car shells at least
