Honestly I was expecting just another G1 Overlord with added articulation. That works surprisingly well. Pretty cool idea.

Wow, a toy that actually makes Aerialbot Syndrome work. I'm duly impressed.

I can't figure it out, is that a warpath tank? Paint not withstanding, how hard do you guys think that would be to do? I'm wondering if there's additional joints or anything, or major cutting.

I would think its reasonably challenging: those are silverbolts legs removed from the torso to be come the main body of the tank with the sides of classics megatron attached with a seperate add on for the turret.
That's a lot of well done cutting and gluing

Even way back when, I said that Classics Silverbolt would be a great base for Overlord; I was even surprised that with the Botcon "Overlord" they didn't use the Silverbolt mold with a new head.

    Neato.

That site is infuriating, though. Why would anyone think flashing backgrounds are a good idea?

didn't somebody here use classics silverbolt to create a custom overlord in which the robot modes actual body was stransformed into the tank half of the set

with the jet vehicle mode kibble parts seperateing from the robot mode to form the stealth fighter half of overlord?

i thought i saw that custom done here a while back this year

clearly this guy had the better take on the idea
