Hey guys, I've noticed a trend in my recent non-retail purchases. The last few times I've purchased from eBay or the boards, I've gotten some kind of aquatic-themed Decepticon (or Predacon, but that's splitting hairs). Energon Sharkticon and Mirage, RID Sky-Byte, Cybertron Thunderblast and Cannonball, PCC Undertow... and it got me wondering. Just how many aquatic 'cons are there? I know that G1 had the Seacons and some other assorted boats, but post-G1, what else? Boats and the like aren't common vehicles for TFs, so it shouldn't be a large number, right? Oh, and if anyone has any thoughts on seaworthy Autobots, that's cool too; my fiancee's shelf displays HFTD Sea Spray and RTS Deep Dive proudly. We may have to go to war one day.
There's Armada/Energon Tidal Wave, at least one trio of minicons, the Seacons, some of the Pretenders... can't think of anything else that's recent though.
Well, my navy used to consist of SkyByte, Energon Mirage, Sharkticon, Thunderbolt, BW Razorclaw, TidalWave and so on, but they were wiped out by the machinations of Hammerstrike and AirHammer. Only Shakrticon survives with his minicons. That means I sold all those mothercrackers. Shame. I don't miss them.
