ComicFigs.Net - To Save The World, One Of These X-Men Will Die
I hope it isn't Nightcralwer.
Which one(s) haven't already died & come back before??
At this point I think all of the X-Men have done that at least twice.
YouTube - X-Men - Death Becomes Them
I miss the old days when you were surprised by a death, they were well written and they added to the story. Now they announce it and just use it a a marketing scheme. It's not surprising when you announce it and all the emotional impact is removed.
I'm thinking Cable, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't Iceman since absolutely nothing is being done with the character.
But yeah, a big meh on another death.
10 dollars whoever dies comes back in some pointless miniseries.
Who is that supposed to be between Colossus and Iceman? Rogue?
Ok, I hope it's her then.
Oh please let it be that waste of space known as Cable.
Not that I care because they'll just come back like every other goddamn X-Man has.
Totally agree with you there Spiderus.
Maybe one of them will stay dead aside from the loser kids no one liked much anyway.
I mean they were ostensibly trimming the fat with Decimation, but no one anyone really cared about lost their powers or died. Notice where Jubilee, Stacy-X, Beak, and that Angel/fly chick were relegated to? New Warriors? And being killed off in that book every so?
In all seriousness, does a pronouncement like this carry any weight with readers anymore?
Colossus has already "died" before, so been there done that.
The rest are popular enough for most readers to care but not enough to really impact the universe too much (saying that, I'm kind of surprised Gambit isn't on the roster). Personally I hope it's either Cable or Emma. I hatez dem.
I hope it's Skullfire.
OH WAIT. THEY KILLED HIM LIKE 10 YEARS AGO IN "2099" THUS RUINING THE BEST X-MEN CHARACTER OF ALL TIME.
It's liek the death of Thunderbird- sudden, painful, and FINAL. There's no goddamn closure to comic books now.
Is he still a priest? I think I read that they retconned that out.
I think Crawler gave quit the priesthood after he found out that he was half demon.
Death iin s comics is nothing more than a writer's crutch. Played out is an understatement.
The greatest death ever (meaning most emotional) was Captain Marvel. Best part about that, it was PERMANENT and it meant something.
(that is, until Quesada pseudo-resurrected him as being lost in some sort of time warp crap)
well i missed alot of the whole Bishop chasing Cable around for the girl, did they ever get rid of Bishop? Maybe Cable will go out taking Bishop out to save the girl. the end. but then again i dunno what happened in that story already.
Separate names with a comma.
