I would think "Returns" would make more sense than "Rises" (on multiple levels) but whatever. Can't wait!
I have that trade. I was actually equating movie titles: Batman Returns with Keaton, Devito, Pfeiffer, etc vs. The Dark Knight Returns To me, too much title similarities, which could cause some to try and compare.
Killer Croc eh? Wouldn't mind that concept. Expecially with Batman now considered an outlaw. although the clock king would also have potential in the Nolan Batman Universe, maybe not in this one though... jD001
Interesting, but a rather bland title, tbh. If the bit about the Riddler not being the villain is true, than I'm at least a little surprised. Seemed like the logical choice. Not many of Batman's villains are really doable in the Nolan-verse. Killer Crock would be awesome, but I have a hard time seeing them put him in this universe properly. Either he'll be vastly different, or he won't fit in at all. I'd honestly rather see them get a new actor to reprise the role of the Joker.
I like the title, but I think I would prefer "the Caped Crusader". It's epic and would set it apart from TDK. Can't wait to see who the second villain is.
I dislike the new title. But like I said on Twitter, I can see why the studio would want to have 'The Dark Knight' in the title somewhere. It was the big hit in movie theatres, and they probably want to remind people this is a sequel. As stupid as that sounds.
I hope not. When they make a film for 3D they force a lot of unnatural shots that don't always make sense. 3D as a secondary medium is fine, just don't shoot it FOR 3D.
