No one. And not just in a kneejerk "OMG remakes are teh suck" way. It's been painfully apparent that this franchise was lucky to get one good film and should be left well alone.

Amen to that. Hell just the other day they had a new version of Unsolved Mysteries on tv, and the Brandon Lee incident happened to be one of the segments.

They already made another Crow movie in 2005, I agree that they should just leave it alone. Brandon Lee was a GREAT actor and so was his father. Today, I bought a $400 Crow bust and I'm getting a 12" figure soon. Great movie.

Knowing Hollyweird, they will probably just get Sting from TNA...has his own gear and own facepaint.

The original was great, but remaking it sounds like a disaster. But their going to make it anyway and you know I'm not going to see it intil maybe something changes my mind.

I've never really understood the point of remakes. I mean if the original was so popular, popular enough to warrant a remake, then why bother? I mean do you think you can make it better and even more iconic?

I really enjoyed the original, even though in general it's not exactly my taste in movies. Brandon did a great job, along with the rest of the cast. I say leave it be and let it be in memory of him as his last awesome performance.

Exactly. The Crow is like Highlander, a good movie that's been tarnished by multiple failed attempts to continue and/or spin-off from it.

If it isn't broken, don't fix it. The first movie was fine. Hollywood is out of original ideas (and has been for a while). That's why we get all these unnecessary remakes. I've always thought they should go into the studio vaults, yank out all the terrible movies that haven't seen the light of day in decades that no one would remember, and try remaking those. There are bound to be some original ideas in at least a dozen of them.

I could understand the logic, perhaps, if they were going to do a high budget version of The Crow that's more faithful to the original comic since the movie strayed quite a bit from it, but somehow I doubt that's the case.

There is no logical reason for another Crow movie. There was nothing wrong with the original (one of my favourites movies), and every single sequel has been utter shit. This project needs to be canned ASAFP.

I worked in a cinema when the original film was out, we watched it quite a bit, great film. As has been said the sequels much much less so.

Does no-one in Hollywood have an original, or semi-original idea any more?

    He had $400!

Oh for fuck's sake, no. The original film was great, why can't they just leave it.

...and one thing that'll suck worse than this remake will be the soundtrack they attach to it.

Which really doubles the tragedy. Considering how mediocre the Crow is.

I had only 2 minor complaints about the film back in '94 and they aren't big enough to warrant a remake.
    1. wish they had put the dream sequence on the train in the movie.
    2. FunBoy's death in the comic was way more effective.

but like i said, it ain't worth no stinkin', half assed, milk the emo's at the HT, attempt at a remake.
Brandon's work was great and it will do fine for years to come.

Hadn't thought of that, got my first car that summer, Crow soundtrack was on a lot.

    Perfect for conspiracy theorists though.
