count dooku was a lame excuse for a sith lord in my opinoin. i hated him, mostly because he replaced maul. but i guess you could make that connection. but i liked sentinals charater though.

    I don't think so.

Dooku was a 2nd in command and was a defected Jedi.

Sentinel was a bot with a plan, and he wasn't going to be 2nd in command to anyone, especially Megatron.

Because Palpatine realized that to survive, you need subtlety. If you walk into the room with a cocky attitude in that universe, there's a high probability that you're gonna get taken down.

I think it’s an apt analogy.
Sentinal and Dooku\Darth Tyranus share enough similarities for it to be so; they don’t have to be equal on everything.
They both are a refined, elegant sort of evil.

True, but Sith seem to always be plotting to overthrow their masters.
In Episode II Dooku appeared to be trying to corrupt Obi-wan to his cause in much the same way Vader later (previously?) tried with Luke.

Who knows what Dooku would have tried if he hadn’t lost his head. :)

I think that only giving Darth Maul 11 minutes of screen time in the prequels was a horrible choice.
However, I do like Dooku. He really rounds out the the Sith evil.

    • Darth Maul –a brutal, savage force.
    • Darth Sidious –a decrepit back stabbing schemer, perverse and decayed.
    • Darth Vader –a mechanical monster imprisoned in his evil.
    • Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku) –a polite, sophisticated, elegant man who is also completely evil.
The Clone War shows has expanded this concept to great effect.

Palpatine was clearly The Fallen in ROTF, it was embarrassingly blatant.
The twins were both Jar-Jars. Yet Orci said they wanted ROTF to be an Empire Strikes Back! :D

Na sentinal was much more impressive than palpatine.

Sentinal was doing good for cybertron, but for the wrong reason's. But in optimus's mind, that all of us destroyed their planet, and another race should not pay for these mistake's. Optimus feels that cybertron had their time, and the transformers of both races had to adjust to a new planet, but sentinal and the decepticons never wanted this option. And sentinal felt that destroying most of earth, was the only option to bring cybertron back, and they wanted their home planet back not earth.

I would compare sentinal, has a guy who sold his soul to the devil himself that is megatron. And when sentinal seemed to go back on this deal, to be in second in command to megatron, he payed the price, well carly motivating megatron who destroyed sentinal.
