probably my least favorite book of the series, but should translate well to the big screen.

It looks great, but after listening to the dialog, I was wondering who's "Brince Gaspian?"

I saw the first one and went, "Hah! Lord of the Rings lite!"

I see this trailer and think, "Harry Potter 2.0!"

    Yawn.

The first one was boring, not really looking forward to any more of these.

It's a shame, because I read the entire series three times over when I was a kid, loved it. The movies just don't do it for me.

i wasn't going to bring it up in this thread, because it's a movie away. but if they do the book any, ANY justice whatsoever, dawn treader could be phenomenal (at least visually if not overall). to me, it has the most potential out of all of them for big screen kickassery.

    Really?

If they weren't trying so hard to piggyback off of other styles this could have been good. Instead we have a frankenfilm of digital swoop shots of green valleys, Harry Potters, and Lord of The Rings Jr.

If this series died with this movie and didn't go on to any of the other books I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Never read the books, thought the first film was ok to the point where I've watched it a few times now and I eagerly await the day I can watch this one...on TV.

I saw the Prince Caspian Trailer (along with Inkheart [Brendan Fraiser, Andy Serkis], and The Spiderwick Chronicles) when I went to see The Golden Compass. Out of all the previews, this was an exciting one (certainly better than LOTR-Wannabe Trailer for the first film). I'm still wary about the movie itself though.

The trailer looks pretty epic. The first one was underwhelming though. My main complaint with the look of both of these having oversaturated color- I want to see things look a little aged and maybe a little dirtier. Anyways, I am sure I will see this but will probably be mildly entertaining.

Oh, and in the trailer, I think Asland says "Everything you know is about to change.".... Bowzers! That's about the most steretypical, cliche'd line you could have in a trailer.

Dude he totally ripped off The Silver Surfer's "All that you know, is at an End..." Quote from The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Sufrer Trailer.
