I like to listen to "Celtic Woman". They are having a concert in my town next month. But I won't be able to go.

But the last time they were here, somebody who went told me only three of them were on stage.

I'm actually of Irish descent and love Liam O'Connor. Went to Ireland 2 or 3 years back and attended a show. Blimey, he's got fast fingers.
The High Kings are cool, too.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhJp0W0ku2w

They are really good. The Parting Glass has to be one of my favorite folk songs. Alisa Jones' version is a neat take on it because she's made it an upbeat song with different instruments. Alisa Jones - The Parting Glass

I wish I could share some of her stuff with you guys on here, but I can't find links to audio anywhere for most of her stuff. She does all of the instruments and then layers them in a studio. A lot of her music is her versions of old folk songs.

Hi guys just seen the thread. I'm Irish and born and living in Dublin. I'd recommend luke kelly, the dubliners , and the pogues if you're interested in Irish music.

I love celtic music! And I also primarily listen to rock/metal, however it's in my blood not to mention I have an appreciation for all types of music.
