    This reminds me...

I need to have my rear brakes adjusted so my emergency brake will actually grab.

    Well - got it fixed.

    $120

Not bad but, I wasn't expecting to have to spend it.

A few relatives are going to get cheap ass Christmas presents now. :lol

    Sorry to hear it DC.

Yesterday my radiator blew. So far, I'm $1,300 in for replacement. Once that's done, I get to see what kind of engine damage I've got.

    Hoo-fing-ray.

$120 ain't too bad at all, especially if that's with labor. What was the problem?

I got the labor for free, the 120 was for parts, I am an ultimate cheapskate, I never pay for labor if I don't have to.

There was a busted cylinder on one of the rear drums and the metal part of the brake line going into it had ruptured.

We went ahead and replaced all the shoes and both drums, the cylinders and the brake lines on the rear breaks while we had it all apart as to keep it from happening on the other side as well.

Happened to me once while I was going slightly downhill at about 50mph. Man did that suck.
