I'm torn between Masterpiece Prime and Megatron, both are the most expensive toys I have ever bought. Megatron has a more intricate transformation, but Prime has the better bot mode. Both have great accessories as well. I'd have to say Megatron, simply for how Takara/Tomy managed to make a pretty well proportioned and anime accurate gun Megatron
I can't name the best one cause it hasn't been made yet. (Come on Masterpiece Grimlock, hurry up and get made already!)
G2 Laser Rod Optimus Prime I don't care that people think he has an 'ugly' color scheme. Great articulation badass head sculpt and the coolest accessory of all time the big friggin sword. Is it any wonder I've got 4 versions of him with G2 Laser Prime, G2 JPN Laser Prime, RiD Scourge and eHobby Magnus? No. It's not.
This is a tough one, very tough. But if I must only choose one, I'll go with Brave Max. Huge powerful looking bot and a great sized city mode. He is IMO the best color scheme for that mold by far. Especially in city mode with the night time building lights paint job.
For me it's Classics Starscream. Excellent design, and a great update on the G1 character. I find myself constantly fiddling around with it.
Backgild [CD Scattorshot] After years of facing Decepticon air superiority, I love seeing an Autobot that can act as a SAM/AAA platform. When that is coupled with a toy that is fun to play with, despite some flaws, it's easily my favorite Transformer.
My Favorites are Mp Megs and Optimus Rid Prime/Magnus Ths 02 Prime Robotmasters/bw reissue Primal Classic Bumblebee And Armada Unicron
MP-01/04 Because it's big, heavy, and the absolute best toon to toy representation I have ever seen of a G1 character. Perfect from top to bottom, and the fact that it includes a well hidden light-up Matrix on top of everything else is sheer brilliance. MP-05, the Classics Seekers, G1 Soundwave and G1 Shockwave all come in as a close second.
Wow....I'd have to say Movie Ratchet. He's just so great. I'm a big hummer fan and I love ratchet since G1.I mean the weird thing is that when Ratchet is in robot mode it doesn't even look like it transformes into a hummer.
