Now, our community is one that frequents the secondary market. We're constantly buying, selling, and trading for that one last grail we're set to have on our shelves. I wonder, not what was the best figure that was released in 2010, but the best thing you acquired? Between the figures released in 2010, and the figures you've b/s/t from another person.

I'll be posting mine as soon as I get it in the mail, but yeah.

I would say Hasbro MP Grimlock. Never have I drove around looking for a TF that much. It also got me looking more into the forums and it started my BST'ing here

Man, that's a good question. I got a lot of great figures, both new and old this year. MP Grimlock is pretty high on the list, but I have a soft spot for Rail Racer/JRX, or any of the other older figs I managed to get a hold of. This was an oddly busy year for me.

    Alternators skids

I have never been a fan of alternators but i found a sweet deal on craigslist.
It might help that the Xb is one of my favorite new era cars but DAM
    This figure is really awesome.

Straxus, Straxus, a thousand times Straxus! Just the sheer amazement that Hasbro would put out that figure would have been enough, but it's also a dang good figure!

I think it can be tough to compare an $80 TF to a $10 TF, so I'll break this in half..

My fav 2010 TF purchase under $50: WFC Soundwave
My fav 2010 TF purchase over $50: iGear Faith Leader/MP Prime

Honorable mentions for me would be MP Grimlock, Leader SS, WFC Megs, and Ani Hot Rod.

This is the first year I have bought a Transformer since 1987. I was the right age when G1 hit the airwaves, and between that and Robotech I have been a huge consumer of Japanese mecha anime(super and real robot genres) ever since. Earlier this year I decided to go back to my roots and watch G1 again, for some reason I had never revisited it even tough I've watched Macross through a few times, and it really reminded me how special that original run was even with its simplicity(many Japanese anime stories from the same era are complex and epic by comparison).

So then I decide I am insane for not having a single piece of TF goodness in my dojo to keep all my Japanese pieces company(and yes I know G1 designs are from Japanese toys) and go to look around and see what is happening with TF toys. I originally went hunting with the intention of getting a G1 Optimus like I had as a kid, when I ran across the perfection that is the MP Prime. Wow is not a big enough word for what happened in my brain when I saw it. It is one of the greatest toys ever made in recorded history.

So my hunger to explore the franchise inflamed, I've polished off watching G1, am getting started on headmasters, first TPB of the G1 comics is on its way to me and last night I pulled the trigger on TRU Grimlock. Shame I paid too much, I waited too long to grab one at retail in my town, but that's life.

So I have to say MP Prime is going to win no matter how awesome Grimlock is. He's just that good. :)

I gotta go with MP Grimlock. Sadly this figure has and MP Skywarp have gotten me collecting the MP line over all and I have intentions of finishing out my seekers at some point and have preordered MP Megatron and Convoy final lol. But Grimlock is just an awesome figure. Not the best MP in terms of articulation but he just looks so intimidating in robot mode and his Trex mode is nice and goofy looking like in the cartoon.
