So I had been wondering exactly what was in my toy box from when I was a kid. I knew I had a lot of Masters of the Universe figures, but I wondered if I had many TF's, Hotwheels, or Star Wars... since I'm big into them now.

So I finally asked my mom if I could dig the stuff up. She said yes, so I went searching.

    Here is what I unearthed...

    I'll start kind small...

    Twin Twist - yellowed
    [IMG]

Pretender Skullgrin w/ gun... but only half his outer shell.

Constructicon Hook - missing his crane
    [IMG]

Ramjet body (no head or anything) - Swerve - Strafe
    [IMG]

Fangry - missing Nebulan, Wings, and Gun
    [IMG]

    Grotesque- has gun, still sparks
    [IMG]

    Spark Stalker - still sparks
    [IMG]

    Kickback - in decent shape
    [IMG]

Gun Runner - inner and outer parts, "custom" 2 1 stickers from pinewood derby kit
    [IMG]

Hardhead - Nebulan, but no guns
Octane - Decent shape, has gun
    [IMG]

Han Solo, Chewbacca, and IG-88 - Kenner :)

    Bluestreak Decoy
    [IMG]

G1 Grimlock - Broken neck clip, loose, chrome wear, but still fun!

G1 Optimus Prime - Rough Cab, trailer door gone, inside piece jacked, trailer is going to another cab for display!

Powermaster Optimus- Missing HQ Nebulan and Larger Robot Head... great condition ... my pick of the litter :)
    ..............................

Then here are a few little things I can't identify. I know that thhe bot on the left is Cliffjumper, but I don't undertand what it is. The 2 on the right are identified, but I don't know about the other 3 little guys. Any ideas?

    .........................................

Pretty much everything is going into my collection. I don't have room right now, but I'm going to make some room before long. I've had my eye on a bookcase for a while now... and this is a pretty good reason to get it!!!!

Thanks mom and dad for spending so much on toys for me as a kid :)  you guys rule :)

hmmm, I've seen that before, but that's not a regular cliffjumper. mcdonald's toy or bootleg or something, I can't remember. the others are micromasters. be patient, someone here definitely knows which ones they are.

Left to right, you've got Highjump, Mudslinger, and Tote.

I've got a head for PM Prime to spare if you're interested.

It's funny, because when I dug my old toys out from The Box, it was Powermaster Prime too who was in the best condition of the whole lot. :)  They've all been in there for over a decade.

Casualties include a G1 StarSaber who is missing his Brainmaster and Saber blade, a G1 Brainstorm with broken legs, and a shattered G1 Road Caesar... :cry

Amazingly, the only other toy to survive unscathed was a Build Tiger Knock-Off...

I'd post some pics, but eh...you can click my sig to see the survivors. :)

I also recently found some of my vintage G1 toys. I was very happy since I thought moms trashed them. Found Superion, Abonimus, the four Stunticon limbs, Rathchet, Top Spin, Twin Twist, boxed Prime in rough shape, boxed Galvatron, boxed Metroplex, boxed Kup, boxed Rodimus Prime, and boxed Sky Lynx. I really wished my parents would have decided sooner to make me keep stuff in boxes as a way to keep the toys in my room straightned up.

I was actually really impressed that more wasn't broken. There was a ton of crap on top of it. And it was scattered across many boxes. I probably need to go through it again since I know what some of the parts are I'm looking for.

Don't think so... I almost shelled out money to get one in about this shape...

    Cool "re-haul"!

ckhtiger is right, that's a McDonald's Cliffjumper. Specifically, it was a Happy Meal toy that was only given out at McDonald's in the St. Louis area in 1985. See here. They had CJ, BB, Gears, and Brawn in 6 colors each. They're actually fairly rare, and sought after by some folks. Here is an eBay listing for one like yours.

So far I've been scrounging for parts and I'm thinking Ramjet is going to be the "lost cause" you'd almost need a complete one to steal parts from.... or a very generous parts lot!
