Thats what I like to hear.
Damn.... that is really good news!
Well not to sound negative or anything here but what exactly was he going to say, it tested badly? Its like commercials, you never here anyone talk badly about the product there selling fwiw.
If it tested badly he probably wouldn't have said anything at all, and he would be scurying around trying to fix what ever problems the audience didnt like.
Quite, heres to a succesful action filled summer
Exxxcellent!! *steeples fingers Mr. Burns style*
The 'excito-meter' in my stomach has just jumped up another 'butterfly notch'!!
And I agree that if the screening had been a disaster, we just wouldn't have heard about it until well later on when some 'retooling' had been done.
So does this mean the CGI is almost done?? Also that is great news if it really is true. It would shut up alot of haters. I wanna ask the test viewers questions!! I wonder who they were?? Lets hope they weren some bias bay lovers for the high score. Bring in some normal people!
What I like about this screening is that it (probably) wasn't just a bunch of fanboys at the theater. Hopefully the screening was a large cross section of the average movie goer.
BTW Nice Avatar Red Squad. LOL
Further down in that thread, Nelson clarified how these test screenings work:
So, randomly selected people of all ages that have no idea what they are going to see. Not Bay lovers or Transformers nerds.
Darnit, quit increasing my anticipation for this movie! I already might not make it through the next 2 months as is without going insane from the wait!
Take that, haters.
Very good news to hear it tested better than Armageddon. That's more or less the only Michael Bay movie I've bothered seeing (saw it about 8 times at the '99 Canada Winter Games because the organizers gave us really crap VHS selection for our downtime), unless I'm forgetting one.
If this tested bad all we would be hearing is that they are doing some last minute edits, and if it tested this well for what might be non fans think how it's going to be for the fans.
Interesting, this helps backs up the claims of a few imdb posters who said they saw a test screening last night. So far all reports have been very positive.
They must really have these screenings locked down. Why hasn't any of the footage been leaked yet? Or does someone know of a torrent by chance?
